I came in asking to get change because I work next door. The front desk lady was immediately rude and said "We don't do that here". Okay. So you don't give people change for cash at a bank? Bank of America across the street helped me out just fine.

Wanted to share my recent experience with Jen Moody, Vice President and Lending Manager with FOPCU. The credit union had no power for days because of the terrible storms in our area. The very first morning they reopened, Jen allowed me to come into her office and wait while she completed the loan process that started the week before. She worked diligently and patiently with the out-of-town dealership so that my new car could be delivered to me the next day. Thank you, Jen and FOPCU. We've been customers for years, and I can't imagine working with anyone else when it comes time to get a loan for a vehicle.

I had a lower credit score with a low interest rate when I got my first auto loan with them. When I went to get another auto loan (with a better credit score) they gave me a ridiculously high interest rate. So unhappy. They were so nice at the beginning of my first auto loan and now just rude and disrespectful when I call.

They're always super helpful here. And, unlike other banks, they only require $5 to keep the savings account open. And their online app is live, so as soon as you use your debit card, you can refresh your app, and the charge is there. Makes it easy to 'balance your checkbook' so to speak. And last but not least, if you need to immediately transfer funds from savings to checking, or checking to savings, it's instant. You don't have to wait 30 minutes or an hour, or anything. All in all, very impressed. 10/10 would recommend.

Have banked with FOP Credit Union for 40+ years. Always have been happy with their friendly, efficient employees and great service. 2025. Still a great place to bank.
