I gave them two stars because they did my car loan and its paid off. Handled my money market account. But they've been rude. Their investor literally lost a 10,000 check i brought in from a 401k i cashed out. Kept avoiding me. Had to stop payment and get another one processed. Took a couple months through the delays this guy put me through with not handling my money correctly. I just took the money to my other credit union once I got it straightened out. I recently closed my money market and savings with them and am having the funds mailed to me in another city. The lady tells me I hope it doesn't get lost in the mail. Im thinking oh jeez, here we go again. Ive never dealt with an institution that might possibly lose my money and did once. Ive dealt with some of their rude tellers in the past. Some were nice but one experience was just terrible. Its a nice looking credit union but they really need to step up their professional banking.

I had an amazing experience at the Central Willamette Credit Union Waverly branch in Albany, Oregon. Bryce absolutely knocked it out of the park helping me with a vehicle loan. From the moment I walked in, he was personable, down-to-earth, and genuinely kind. There was no sales pitch, no pressure, no games—just a solid, real conversation with someone who clearly knows his stuff and cares about people. He walked me through the process step-by-step, made sure I understood everything, and treated me with total respect the entire time. It’s rare these days to find someone in finance who makes you feel like a person instead of a number. Bryce is that guy. If you’re thinking about working with Central Willamette, do yourself a favor and go to the Waverly branch. Ask for Bryce. Trust me.

I have banked with CWCU for over 20 years and Brianna Hinkel has been there for me for every car, boat and motorcycle loan. She is quick and has THE BEST customer service.

Minus 5!!! Willamette Valley Credit Union completely failed to protect an elderly, disabled family member who was scammed by Power Honda. Within 24 hours of the sale, we discovered over $12,000 in fraudulent add-ons and immediately reached out for help. The credit union refused to assist, wouldn’t return messages, and wouldn’t even get on a conference call. We ultimately had to hire a lawyer just to undo the damage. Yes, you people will learn more about this later in court. They were given multiple chances to step in, investigate, or advocate, but instead chose to do nothing. Their priority was clearly making interest on the loan, not protecting a vulnerable member from fraud and exploitation. This is not a credit union that stands by seniors or disabled clients. If you’re looking for an institution that truly has your back, look elsewhere. I couldn't be any more angry at this outfit.. Put it this way, we paid off this auto loan in total within two and a half months to get away from this outfit. So not only did you get no interest but you get this review and legal action heading your way. Horrifically unethical operation.
