Extremely poor communication. It was almost impossible to get through to a real person, and when they did return my calls, it took days. They also added insurance to my loan without my approval and overcharged me for it for two years. This was never clearly explained or authorized by me. When I finally spoke with a representative (Heidi), the conversation felt dismissive and unproductive. She claimed she had called me numerous times regarding a loan application, but in reality, I only received 2–3 calls. Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience. I would give zero stars if that were an option.

Wauna Credit Union truly cares about it's members and the community. I have first hand watched them donate countless hours to local causes, give back to more nonprofits and organizations than I have fingers and toes to count, and they go to extra mile to bring financial educational services in our county. I highly suggest them.

Can not recommend! Last July, both my credit and debit cards were skimmed and used for fraudulent purchases. Now it's November. WCU still has not closed the case and cleared the fraud from my credit card. Every time I called for updates or action taken, no one knew anything. Very humiliating. I've given up and left this credit union.

I don't know what's happening with this bank but they're losing the small town feel that people went to this institution in the first place, trying to be a big bank losing their personal rapport. Not to mention also besides that fact if you make a payment over $500 to your credit card they freeze your card and tell you you have to call if you want to make a payment that big. And don't apologize for freezing your card when you go to use it. They change my account settings at their own will, i have had to call several times to have them change it back to where I had it at for automatic payments.

I understand the Covid restrictions- and accept that Wauna is about on par with the DMV and the SS Service. When I finally get a live person to help me figure out the "e-statement" varification code on the phone so I can get the multiple month statements needed by a mortgage company- problem solved? No. I have to go in, in person and have them printed out for $$. That is over the top. We run multiple accounts with Wauna usually over a 10k balance and have for over 20 years. They need a healing...and it has nothing to do with Covid.
