I can't recommend this credit union. I have had a credit card from them for a long time and never use it. I occasionally put a charge on it because they say that's what you should do. The credit union changed their website/online banking system. I moved and changed my address in the old e-tran system (which was horrible). I did not know they had a new system and the old one still worked when I changed my address. However apparently they were still billing me at an old address because of this new system. I didn't get a bill or any notification of the new system. Because of this I incurred a negative credit report hit over a $30 charge which was my first in decades and it has had a major impact on my credit score because of their incompetency.

I moved over an hour away from this branch years ago, but still maintain my account at LVECU. Personally, I don't love the website, but don't have to use it, too much. On the flip side, it's the people that make this physical bank tick. The app is handy and have communicated with employees through that for various moves. There have been times where I need to meet with staff and they worked with me (on 2 occasions for an extended period of time). And just are professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and responsive. Thanks Marge (and all those at LVECU.)

These people are terrible to deal with. I would not recommend. Trying to get my son a car loan was a disaster even with co-signer with a high credit score. I used to say great things about them because they had great rates but this is the 2nd car loan that has been so much more trouble than it was worth. My advice is to try a different credit union.

The branch manager Crystal is absolutely AMAZING. She went to bat for me and I could not feel any more confident about my bank. Crystal you're awesome. Thanks again!

LVECU were very helpful in setting up my accounts and the app is a great resource to use when tracking your finances. I would recommend this bank to anyone as my family has been using it for over 15 years and no problem has gone unresolved.
