I had absolutely no issues when I was with Family First Credit Union. Everything was straightforward, professional, and respectful. When my accounts were automatically transferred to First Choice after Family First closed, the difference in treatment was immediately noticeable. The transition was confusing, and I received little to no guidance. I’ve had issues with basic functions like paying my credit card. When I went into the Neshannock branch to ask for help transferring money from an outside account to my checking to pay school expenses, I was met with dismissive attitudes and no real assistance. Simple requests like officially switching account details over now so I can pay important bills without having to redo everything later were brushed off. I’ve been told “we can do that anytime,” but when I’ve gone in and asked to do it, I’ve been met with reluctance and comments implying they just don’t want to deal with it. What’s most concerning is the way I’ve been treated. I’ve been laughed at, talked down to, and made to feel small for asking normal banking questions. I left one visit feeling so embarrassed that I actually apologized even though I did nothing wrong. That should never happen at a financial institution. As a young woman managing my own finances responsibly, I expect to be treated with the same respect as any other member. Instead, I’ve repeatedly felt dismissed and not taken seriously. Whether intentional or not, the pattern feels discriminatory and unprofessional. I have since gone to another First Choice location and have not experienced the same issues, which makes the difference at the Neshannock branch even more noticeable. Based on my experience, I do not recommend this location. If you thrive in a “mean girl” environment you’ll feel right at home…they might even hire you!!

I Was assured I would get my money yesterday, With a wire transfer instead of a check. That didn't happen. So expected today. That didn't happen. Holiday weekend. So won't clear until Tuesday. With impound fees on my car being 200 a day that 800 dollars this institution is going to cost me.
