Worst experience i ever had at Stanwood AFCU. Chrissy is the one who made several errors. Once i deposited a nice size check, wanted so much in my checking the rest in savings. She messed it up n got it all wrong. Then my recent experience. My account was closed because i was getting scammed. I went into get the rest of my direct deposit out , again Chrissy shorted me $ 100. I live on a fixed income. She never counted the cash back to me. Their claim was that they counted her drawer within a 5 minute time period. Said it was not over, two others counted her drawer. Same. I asked them to review the footage of the camera video. Low n behold they're claim is it wasnt a good recording. Figure that. My new bank counted out in front of me , they also counted what i had a $100 short. Ok so where is my $100. Did she pocketed it. I never had it. Very upset. Could not pay several of my bills. She is also a smart mouth. If she didnt have 10 fingers n toes to count on she could count to 10. I give them a -10. Was with them for over 20 years. Really didnt want to deal with going to stop my direct deposit, but now i have no choice, have been actually wanting to be rid of them long ago. Am happy i dont have to see their miserable faces. They seem unhappy at their jobs. They are untrust worthy. Management is awful, they need a better manager. My son works at a bank , he heads a team for fraud. He has a Phd in criminology. No way would i do wrong to ruine his career n life. His wife is a forensic psychologist. So i want to warn people that they need to be careful. They do not cover their tellers on video. So what happened to my $100. My thought is she pocketed the money. Becareful. Make them count the money back to you.

I love Stanwood Area Credit Union. I've been a member for over 30 years. I have always been treated with respect. The service is always above and beyond what you would receive a larger bank. I love the user-friendly website, being able to fax a document to a business or one of the many other amenities.

Had to edit this review.. If it wasn't for Ms. Kim I would never go here and close my account. The other ladies are so mean and obviously hate their job. If you ask one to many questions they huff and puff and give you the death stare. It is local and convenient though.

Been a member for over 10 years. We are extremely satisfied with their services. All the staff go out of their way to help you. They are extremely helpful when we do go to the bank since we have direct deposit, they all know us and great us by our names.

For two months they did not send statements. Neither was I able to access my account online due to complications with their web site. Owing to this my account became overdrawn for the first and only time in 20 years of doing business with them. For a lousy $20 overdraft they fined $30 and refused to forgive it.
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
