I believe a good business (bank, grocery store, lawn cutting, etc...) does well with great customer service. Good leadership has good staff. Unfortunately, this credit union has neither. I was appalled when I heard how an employee here spoke to my mother. My mother was a member of this credit union for many years (0ver 35). She worked for the city and was on the credit unions board for years. Before she passed away, she would call and ask for assistance with her online banking and credit card. I would hear how she was spoken to. It was very saddening. Upon her passing a few months ago my sister called to let them know and they just said "we already know". The staff knows me and my sister, they never even gave us their condolences. They knew my mom for over 35 years and you can't even say anything about your member that just passed. I think that is absolutely horrible and is a reflection on how the staff feels about their members. I'm still taken back by the lack of humility shown. They were quick to take her money and act like she never existed. Shame on the staff and this credit union.

Customer Service is key in any and all businesses. Treating people with kindness and respect. This is the worst place of business I have ever been involved with because of the staff that works there. Miserable, unhappy people who obviously do not like there jobs. My beloved mother was a member for years. On the board for years and still stuck with them even when she was treated with disrespect and hung up on many times when she would call. When I notified them of her passing, the response I received was "we already know" very condescending. Not one staff person at the Credit Union had the decency to express there condolences. Not even a word. That tells you the people you trust with your everyday accounts, are cold hearted and DO NOT CARE at all about you. It should be more than a miserable job to them. If you are a member already take your business to another credit union where you are treated with respect. There are a lot out there.

We have been members of Pagoda FCU for over 20 years. After raising 3 kids and sending all of them to college, we were in a tight spot financially and our credit cards were maxed out. There was rarely enough money for extras and vacations were out of the question. Pagoda worked with us over a series of small, short-term loans to pay off our high-interest credit card debt, consolidate other loans, and eventually pay off all of our debt. The initial loan paid off a couple of credit cards and instantly got us some breathing room in our budget. The people at Pagoda listened to our goals and developed plans to fit our needs. Isn't that what every financial institution should do for their customers? Pagoda worked with us when we really needed help. There is no better place to manage your finances!

Rates that this credit unions are great, but some of the attitude of the staff isn't very friendly. I wish they had a better online platform. There was a lot of inconvenience just to do some paperwork or even set up an appointment especially with some of the times being during working works for some people.

I have been a member for a few years now and have had mostly positive dealings with my credit union. I was reading some of the other comments before I wrote and one of them is valid and that would be parking. But you are going to have that any place in the city.
