I am very disappointed in how the current issue has been handled by the credit union. We were not properly notified about this until it was to late. My account went into the negative which was not my fault. I accrued 2 over draft fees from achs drafts. I asked for them to be reversed and explained the situation. The branch manager was rude and cut me off several times. They would only give me back one fee. I have no problem paying for what I owe. This should have been an exception. I am currently looking for another bank to do business with.

Bank is extremely shady. They've had issues for weeks now not days but weeks. Not a single notice sent out to anyone. People are getting different reasons on the phone so basically nobody knows whats going on at all. They're double charging people, sending it all back, taking out a months worth of things all at once and screwing up accounts and peoples lives. I've seen so many people blowing up Facebook over it. I hope there is an investigation into thia negligence. Soon as I know what I have im pulling it all out and switching banks. Been with them for many years and this is unacceptable.

This bank is not up with modern times with the amount of technology available. If you’re locked out of your account and need to transfer funds fast you’re unable to unlock the account manually without calling and speaking to someone at the branch during their business hours. They do not give you any grace period to correct an overdraft fee due to this major inconvenience. So if you accidentally lock yourself out of your account you can not simply unlock it like a major credit card or through a different bank. I will stick to bigger banks such as PNC or PSECU. By not being understanding they are missing way more money with interest from house loans, auto loans & personal loans. They should take advice from bigger banks that work with people rather than take advantage of people. PGMFCU isn't keeping up with modern times, by using this system method you have no way to control transferring your own money when you need to if your account is locked, only during their hours which then maybe too late . They will charge overdraft fees that are irreversible. Even if you call immediately upon opening and explain that their system made it completely out of your control for a correction. They lost all future business from me over this lousy overdraft fee that was totally avoidable with banking anywhere else.

They are a terrible company to work with. Credit Unions are usually wonderful to work with. Not this one. They will still charge late fees on a deceased person's account until it is paid through the estate, which of course can take months to get settled. Not a very good business practice. They don't care about their members, just their money. Also, even though they have been notified multiple times of the account holder's death, and have been provided the documentation, they continue to harass the family of the deceased by sending collection letters, sometimes multiple letters in a week.
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
