We originally met with Jackie to find out what we needed to do to move forward with the purchase of a home. She moved quickly to get us approved and we were able to buy sooner than we anticipated. She was available to answer any questions we had in the process, whether it was phone or email. Overall a great experience.

My husband and I have so many nice things to say about Jackie. She is extremely knowledgeable, punctual, and made the loan process so easy as we were first time home buyers. We are so thankful for her & couldn’t be happier to have used Jackie / Horizon FCU for our home loan!

Been banking with them for under a year. Pros: friendly service Account and checking options are decent. Cons: fees are high and especially high for a credit union. They take forever to process a personal check and they wait so long that it seems like they fish for predatory fees. For example: paid with a personal check beginning of December and check wasn’t processed until first of January, By the bank. The merchant processed it within 2 days and I got a receipt immediately so it wasn’t them holding the check. This is not the first time they do that and it seems predatory. Bank of America got into trouble for doing shady stuff like that not sure why a credit union would do that. Considering changing banks. Last con: if you have a fraudulent charge on your account it takes forever to get your funds back.

Just went down to withdraw more than usual. During this time, Chris, who whenever I am in the bank with my wife is smiles, was not today. In fact, when I was doing my withdraw, I was asked where I worked at, after I answered it was apparently assumed I was a "Laborer". Regardless of the fact that I'm not anymore, I started telling him what I do, so he looks at me like quick like I'm the one that's holding him up and goes: "So your a laborer?". Why does it matter? I'm doing a withdraw. The fact that Chris assumed I was a laborer is insulting enough, but having to repeat a job title in a bank lobby, then repeat the large amount of money I want multiple times to everyone, simply because Chris wanted to pry into my life, well, I've been trying to convince my wife to leave this bank. With everything I've been through in life, this was insulting to me, his attitude really is what was insulting about the whole thing. I don't know who trained this gentleman, but please do not pry into customers lives when they are trying to do a bank withdraw to get there own money. This wasn't small talk, this was like I was filling out a application. Not to mention whatever he was typing into the computer about me made the whole process take even longer. I work 3rd shift. I stayed up to make a withdraw for my wife, now my wife is going to do it because I'm no longer stepping foot into a bank that judges you as soon as you step to the counter. Disrespectful, arrogant, inconsiderate. A few values to share about Chris. Christopher: You work at a bank, shave the scruff because your starting to look like a laborer yourself.
