I have been a member for years (maybe two decades) Switching from a traditional bank to First Capital was the best decision. Like throwing the fox out of my henhouse. NO REGRETS

We have been members here since they opened and bought out the last Cred union. The Best! People friendly, curteous and respectful employees!

I have been a customer here for almost 40 years. Great customer service, prompt service, and better interest on my savings than what I get at at other banks.

I only keep my account open here because they have good rates. My husband has his car loan here. They’re never friendly, and act as if you’re bothering them. I gave the one teller $3 in quarters, just to keep activity in my account. She told me she’ll take them this time but next time I needed to use the coin machine in West York. Like what? 10 miles away? Can you not count? That’s the most absurd thing I’ve ever heard a financial institution say. This is also why I have my main accounts at another credit union.

I hate this place, I got there about 30 minutes before they closed to see if I could request to increase my credit limit and the lady told me it was too late and that I'd have to come back tomorrow, even though all the office people were just standing around talking with each other, doors wide open like they were still accepting people. There's absolutely no reason one of them couldn't help me put in the request quick, but she didn't even bother asking them. With my work schedule and transportation I can only ever get there so early, so its extremely disappointing that they turn people away while still open. If you stop helping customers at a certain time then that time should be the posted closing time. Also I applied for and got my credit card online, so why the heck can't I increase my limit online too?? Always horrible customer service here so I try to avoid going in as much as possible.
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
