I've been a member for a little over a month now. I can say the people are very friendly, helpful and caring. The tellers do their best to be able to assist you in whatever is needed with your account in a timely manner. The loan officers do what they can to ensure you have the best financial wellness possible. Their care for your financial wellness is what pushes them above the other credit unions. Anymore it feels like a bank, or some credit unions just see you as a number, or dollar amounts. I can honestly say that York Ed doesn't. While their membership is niche currently, they are the only ones who seem to care about you as a person vs you as a number. If you want help, are looking for some place that cares, then come here. They may be small, but they are very mighty in the way they care about you.

Horrible CEO. There vice president, Dori, does not know what is going on all the time, she is never there, They can not keep help. None of there tellers seem properly trained. There seems to be a lot of hostility in the work place that may be do to improper leadership. The board needs to hold Pam, and Dori accountable for this. I pulled my families money out of there not soon enough. I suggest you do the same.

When it really counts, expect poor customer service! Could not complete a wire from my partner's account with over 24 hours notice. The union's inaction led to the delayed closing on our new house! We were assured across multiple phone calls with Mary K that it could be completed by our closing time, and she would call us if there were any problems. We called right before closing to check on the wire status, and were told that it had been put off until Monday. I'd say that's a problem worth calling us about, Mary. In stark contrast, my credit union set me up to wire funds with two phone calls and 30 minutes of my time.
