I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cathy Zobel at Mid Carolina Credit Union. As a first-time homebuyer, the loan process felt overwhelming at times, but Cathy made everything feel manageable, clear, and even reassuring. She was incredibly empathetic, patient, and kind throughout the entire journey. Cathy was always responsive and never once left me guessing about next steps. She was genuinely ten steps ahead at all times and took the time to explain every part of the process in a way I could truly understand. Anytime I had questions, she answered them thoroughly and with so much care, making sure I felt confident and supported. She also went above and beyond by providing helpful resources and guidance, which made a huge difference for me as a first-time homeowner. Cathy’s professionalism, knowledge, and compassion are unmatched, and I truly felt like she had my best interests at heart every step of the way. If you’re looking for someone who is not only excellent at what they do but also truly cares about their clients, Cathy is that person. I am so grateful for her support and could not have asked for a better experience.

I was greeted immediately and was welcomed into my credit union by two of their representatives. I had 2 issues and within just a very short time, both of my problems were addressed and fixed for me. Both representatives ended up helping me because my problems were related to 2 different areas of my online banking app. Both were simply as polite and knowledgeable as I could have asked of them. I have had this exact great experience every single time I visit you whether it be in person or at the drive-thru. I made a wonderful choice of my banking needs when I switched from BOA to Mid Carolina!!! Always polite, courteous and knowledgeable representatives no matter what my situation has been. I look forward to many years as a customer with Mid Carolina and I appreciate the employee's friendly service.

Courteous, professional customer service. I love doing business with credit unions as you are always treated differently than at a bank. Ms. Howard went above and beyond to help me with all of the financial needs and intentions I approached her with. The excellent staff at the Lugoff branch have made a life long member out of me, will recommend to anyone who will listen.

VERY POOR COMMUNICATION! I opened an account in November 2023. I was not told nor did I receive a statement until April. On that statement, $3 was deducted for a paper statement. I went to get the balance PER the statement and close my account. They kept another $3 because you are charged quarterly. I will NEVER open an account with this bank again. I do not recommend it. Very poor communication and very poor customer service. I'm glad they were able to keep my $6.

Mid Carolina Credit Union is a wonderful bank. They have a very extremely friendly staff. Do anything they can to help you with any questions or problems you may have. The only thing is location. I moved a couple years ago but I keep using this bank. I would like to see more of them in different locations.
