You know I try not to do this but this bank really deserves this rating and I wouldn’t give them any start if I could and that’s how poorly I was treated and judged when I went to this bank Friday 27,2026 . The lady Susan Tate didn’t want to hear me out and clearly didn’t listen to what I was saying at all as she basically pushed me out of her office . I called the bank president to try to discuss what I went in there for originally and she was rude and disrespectful and condescending and completely judgmental. I can read between the lines I’m not ignorant to that fact . Little they know I make twice what they make but I don’t t and wouldn’t treat them like I was better then them . You treat people with respect o matter who they are or where they are from or what color they are . I don’t recommend anyone opening any account there for any reason and I say this respectfully. I will say on the positive note the bank was nice and clean looked well kept and organized and the teller greeted me the moment I walked in the door and she even said thank you when I left and said have a good weekend . So thank you to that lady .

It's so nice to be able to talk to a real person when you call. Everything here is made so easy, such as applying for a home loan, working with different accounts, paying off loans, and so on. If you have any problems with your checking account, Susan is awesome she will go beyond the normal assistance to help you. I have been doing business with CFFCU for at least 20 years or so. I have considered using online banking, and i'm so happy I didn't. Small Credit Union are thr best, Thank you Susan and thank you, CFFCU

I have been a member of Chattanooga First Federal Credit Union for about five years, and it is the greatest financial institution I've ever experienced. When I started with Chattanooga First, I was in the process of rebuilding credit and needed an extensive amount of handholding. Not only did I get the advice and counseling I needed, they were willing to walk me through the processes to improve my situation. They cared about me, and I never sensed I was bothering them. Some of my concerns were intricate, and I needed the time they freely gave me. Several years later, my credit score is back about 700 and I just closed on a house with Chattanooga First. They also have my auto note of four years, and have done more for me than I can ever express. Chattanooga First is the epitome and a golden example of the credit union concept, a movement which began a century ago to service the needs of individuals and families in a truly cooperative manner. I tell the staff of Chattanooga First how much I appreciate them regularly. I'm just one member, but I feel as though my issues matter to every rep to whom I speak and with whom I do business. There is no possible way I could have accomplished this much without Chattanooga First Federal Credit union, and I say this from the bottom of my heart. They are a key part of my plan to keep my financial life stable, growing and backed up by the best information and services available to me. They have the ability to make decisions locally. Customer service, to me, has been extraordinary.

As a newer member of CFFCU I have been very happy with the level of service I have received, and I am about to work on a mortgage through them as well. Getting to know their staff has been enjoyable; it's clear that they are a true members first organization. Being smaller does allow them to know you better and therefore be able help you in a more personal way. They are missing some of the mobile banking that I have been able to do with larger banks in the past, though after talking to them about this I know they are trying to move more extensive services into place as quickly as possible. I really like the low loan rates and high interest rates that I can receive here, too.

I've had two loans. One for a motorcycle that I paid off with out issues. The 2nd I have now, and everything was fine until this month. My checking account was compromised which made my payment late. I called to ask if they would waive the late fee... NOPE! and not that nice about it either. Cited Federal regulations. Well I've had late fees waived at CU's and Banks before under the same circumstance. The staff person started ranting about not going to lose her job blah blah blah. That's OK, I won't be back and I won't, and don't recommend this group.
