I have to agree after 2 years with this bank it hasn't got any better! Service is terrible. Hours are terrible and before someone says they have employees also would like to go home, your bank should be customer friendly first and foremost! If your employees don't like it maybe they should work somewhere else but you're a bank handeling people's money at our convenience not your convenience! There closed early every day and you have to rush on a Saturday to do anything. As far as phone support, forget it. They most times won't even answer and if they do little to no help is provided! Do better Comtrust that's the reason for these reviews but seems like it falls on deaf ears! If your employees are telling people that don't like it to close their account with you, maybe that's what they should do!

Today, I encountered the most unpleasant banking experience EVER. I was so upset when I left this branch, I had to allow myself time to cool down before writing this review. It began as I entered the door speaking with (2) cashiers at the teller counter and it ended with the Branch Manager, Angie Blevins. I was attempting to pay a car note on behalf of my son who recently left for the military in basic training. Normally, the account is paid by a bank draft from another bank institute from a shared account with me and my son. However, for reasons not worth mentioning, I’ve been using the bank card connected to the draft account to go inside the bank and manually make a payment. I do understand that my name is not on the loan, therefore they cannot give me any information about the loan. However this is the first time I’ve been told they couldn’t accept my bank card to make a payment because I don’t have an account with their facility. If every business used the logic and approach there would be no point to having a bank card. It’s a bank card not a check if there is no money there it will decline end of story. I did check my records and I can confirm for the month of June & July both payments were made in the store using the same card with no problem. The branch manager confirmed my July payment but she never mentioned the payment in June. However, she did point out that I made an in store payment in August at another branch which was true but not relevant. I sat in Angie Blevins office for what felt like about 10 minutes as she “checked their records”. When she returned, the resolution she offered was for me to use the foreign ATM ($3 extra charge) at their facility to withdraw the funds from the account just to make a payment. No regard for the fact that the account is in A-1 status or any of the previous payments that were satisfactorily made in the store using the same card. I could have understood her stating, “because we have done it in the past, we will honor your payment this time but moving forward this is the process”, but that’s not what happened. One thing I did learn is they need customer service training at this branch from the lowest to highest level. I do not have an account there and nor will I ever after this incident.

I have been with Comtrust Federal Credit Union since 1999. These people go out of their way to help you in any way they can. I have to say the downtown store. Those ladies really have helped me. I don’t like using a debit card, but sometimes it is necessary. I recently thought I was purchasing something from Wayfair And I talked with a young man at Wayfair and he told me that the website was a fraudulent website and that I would need to contact my bank to file fraudulent charges against PayPal and yes, they took $103 out of my checking account and I can get no one to pick up on the phone so I’m going to have them file fraudulent charges as soon as the bank opens this morning. They go above me on helping their customers so if you’re looking for a bank . Comtrust’s Federal Credit Union has been the best for me. I would give them 10 ⭐️🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Worst bank I have EVER dealt with, I had several payments coming out and bought gasoline which cause a hold and brought me 3$ short of the funds needed I have banked here for over 10 years and lately all they care about is money and customer service is terrible every time you call they will put you on hold for minutes at a time. In the 10 years I was able to have 3 NSF fees reversed and they had gladly offered to take care of, but now today that is not an option for them I was hung up on 4 times today and they just gave me the run around. Then to top it all off when I asked why they were so steadfast about this fee and asked where the loyalty and respect of a tenured customer they stated we should that respect last time we credited a fee and if you would like to come in and close your account we will have the money waiting for you this is no way to EVER speak to a customer if I could give less stars I would as soon as I return to town I will close this account and make sure I let everyone know this is a terrible bank!!
