I have been a member of TVFCU for about 10 years now, and since they introduced these virtual tellers, I’ve dealt with many helpful, and kind tellers. Through all of them, I’ve never really had a complaint - which is what most people only ever leave reviews for. There’s one teller who, to me, stands out above the rest, and I’m blessed every time I get her that day. Hannah H., who I wish I was connected with more during my early morning stops, is family at this point. It’s as if she sees my name and is already full of energy, and ready to make me feel like I’m actually part of a credit union that is run by the members. Her funny pet names like “pookie”, and other variations, crack me up every time I hear them. I just wanted to say that, as long as she’s part of your team, I will always be a member. P.s.- Make more of your long-term/older members happy, and move this young lady to the morning shift!

TVFCU has ALWAYS been the first with the latest at the best value. I have been a member since the 80's and they were the first to protect against overdraft fees, the first to allow withdrawal on a deposit, the first with remote banking and extended and weekend banking. You don't even know how good you can have it until TVFCU comes up with another great innovative benefit. Thanks, TVFCU!

Andy at TVFCU was incredibly diligent and helpful in solving a major issue I had with an early auto loan pay off. This involved collaborating with two other institutions who had made errors with my money that inaccurately sent for pay off. Although this was not Andy’s fault, nor TVFCU’s, they still worked to get it solved for me! Thank you!

Update 12/2025 - I had to argue with TVFCU to get the insurance fee removed after I paid the entire amount. They just thought it was part of my car payment. What a bunch of mess this place is. Original review - Any good will I had with TVFCU was soured by their third-party insurance verification system, Allied. We bought a car using a TVFCU auto loan in July, 2024. Got the auto insurance set up the next day. September we received a letter asking for the insurance policy information or being enrolled in their four times the price insurance, which we provided. Starting in November, 2024, they started sending threatening letters. I went in person to several branches, called the "insurance verification service", called corporate offices, and my insurance agent called several times on my behalf. I was told, at the time, the problem was having TVFCU as the lienholder on the insurance, which it was. And all parties verified it was the problem, both in person and on the phone. Today, six months later, turns out all those phone calls and office visits were lies. For the first time, today, I was told the issue was something else. Six months of lies, six months of fighting something that I would have just fixed six months ago if I was told the truth at the time. Six months of the staff saying "yes, we are fixing the problem". Six months of being told the problem "we just need to make sure the lienholder is in your policy" instead of saying "this is the real problem". Six months of calling Allied and being told "yes, the lienholder is TVFCU and we will remove the insurance charge". Six months of just flat out lies. If your staff and contactors can't be honest about something this simple, what else will they try to cover up? If you use TVFCU, make sure you keep good notes and document everything.

Thank you so much Andy! You have gone above and beyond in helping us. You have been very helpful and knowledgeable in directing us through our loan issue. We really appreciate all the time you put into our issue at hand. All of the staff at Tennessee Valley in the loan department are amazing. They have been readily available, pleasant, and super helpful. Highly recommend TVFCU with all your future loan needs.
