Update: 9/15/2025, Their website is down again! I am so frustrated I want to scream. This has been going on for a week now. How hard is it to fix a website? People need to be able to have access to their funds at their fingertips. This is ridiculous! I need to move my money from this small mom and pops credit union. They can't handle their busy! SMH! I must say when I called, they picked up right away and was polite. With that being said, I still need to have access to my funds. Business is business! My experience with Memphis Municipal Federal Credit Union has been nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. Initially drawn to the institution for its purported reliability and convenience, I've unfortunately encountered a slew of issues that have severely impacted my banking experience. First and foremost, the abrupt changes to my bank account without any prior notification were incredibly unsettling. As a customer, I expect transparency and communication regarding any alterations to my financial accounts, yet the credit union failed to uphold this basic expectation. Moreover, the unreliability of their website has been a recurring problem. Countless times, I've found myself unable to access essential banking services due to website downtime. This inconvenience is exacerbated by instances where my debit card suddenly stops working, leaving me stranded without access to my funds. Adding insult to injury, the recent discovery of the credit union's insecure website has raised serious concerns about the safety of my financial information. Despite attempts to contact customer service for clarification and assistance, my calls have gone unanswered, leaving me feeling neglected and unsupported. The culmination of these issues has left me beyond frustrated. It's utterly ridiculous that I now have to take time off work just to address the ongoing problems with my bank account. This level of inconvenience and inefficiency is unacceptable from an institution that claims to prioritize customer satisfaction. In light of these persistent issues and lackluster customer service, I have no choice but to seek alternative banking options. The Memphis Municipal Federal Credit Union may advertise itself as a reliable financial institution, but in reality, it operates more like a mom and pop bank with all the associated risks and uncertainties. In conclusion, I strongly advise potential customers to proceed with caution when considering Memphis Municipal Federal Credit Union for their banking needs. The numerous shortcomings and frustrations I've experienced serve as a cautionary tale, highlighting the importance of thorough research and consideration before entrusting any institution with your hard-earned money.

DO NOT BANK WITH THIS BANK ! They will take your money if you are even a few days late with your loan , they took my rent money knowing my situation and what I had going on ! The managers act like they don’t want to be bothered when you come in and request to talk to them and THEN MY DEBT CARD NEVER WORKS WHEN IM MAKE A PURCHASE AND I KNOW I HAVE THE FUNDS ! And that heavyset women that working the drive there is very very rude . Cazell Thomas is the most nonchalant and rudest person in that bank I don’t know what’s her issue !
