Would not recommend My family had used this credit union for well over 35 years they even opened an account for me when I was born. We live in Norris and yet we were more than willing to drive here. No longer! A shocking number of inconsistencies and discrepancies over the last few years along with a eager willingness to nickel and dime their members has broken the loyalty I had (through living in 4 other states!) in this organization. I closed my account and took my money elsewhere. Edit additional info: I spoke with a Branch Manager before closing my account. Forgot to mention in my original post that in spite of having signed up multiple times for paperless statements I would continue to receive monthly paper statements. And now that I have no longer been a member of this credit union for some time I am still receiving email updates which seems very peculiar to me.

Their on-line banking is the worst I've ever experienced. I established a username and p/w......when I tried logging in it said "information isn't verifiable " use "recover". Recover said I was already enrolled ....... SIGH!!!! Tried ever iteration and action I could think of....45 minutes of my life gone foever. SO.......FOR THE LOVE OF GOD USE Y-12 OR TVA OR YOUR MATTRESS BEFORE.MEMBERS FIRST!!!!!!

10/10 do not recommend. Do yourself a favor and go to any other credit union. You will thank yourself in the long run when you aren’t treated like road kill.

The worst financial institution I have had the dissatisfaction of dealing with. They have falsely reported on my credit report on multiple occasions and refuse to fix the latest errors even though their records show I'm correct. They lack proper training and are unwilling to work with paying customers. I want to warn people they are wolves in sheep's clothing.

A perfectly fine credit union with free checking accounts. We don't have a lot of other financial dealings with them but we have generally been happy with them over the last 20 years.
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
Your deposits are federally insured up to $250,000 per account category by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).
