I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with CUTX during my loan modification process with Johnny. It took almost two weeks for Johnny to return any type of communication. I had to visit the bank multiple times just to get updates. I felt my time was not valued. I would NOT recommend Johnny as the loan officer and to ask for some one else. In the end the manager Mo had step in and help complete the loan modification process.

Truly terrible service. You have to jump through hoops to speak to a person because they now have a automated system that will not let you do anything because they want the auto system to take over Customer service. Their car loans are very dishonest. You’re better off going with Bank Of America - very straightforward and they have options to pay them off quickly. Their branches are not convenient. The people that work there are not efficient & have no idea what they’re talking about so they tell you anything. I would not recommend this Union to Bank at, to get a car loan, definitely not a home loan. You will end up paying double at the end of your loan or home loan if you do refinancing as well. so save yourself the trouble. Oh, and their app is very difficult to use! And no the customer service number wont help either or you will wait a hour every time. If you have a quick question, just google.all locations are like this.

Twice we financed cars through CUTX. Gary Charlton, helped us both times and couldn't be happier with the experience. It was a pleasure working with Gary, and we drove away feeling confident and happy with our purchase. When the time comes to purchase another vehicle we'll definitely be back to work with Gary.

Literally the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced these last few years with CUTX. They’re Johnny on the spot when you want to start a loan but if you need anything other than that they’re non-existent. DO NOT use CUTX unless you prefer for your financial institution to be unreachable. 30 minute hold times, missed appointments, attempt to replace customer interaction with AI and chatbots - the list goes on. The crux of my biggest complaint now is their lack of any willingness to resolve an issue solely caused by them and their subpar app. Tried to make a standard transfer like I do every month to pay a note/payment due. The app shows that the transfer cannot be made and to try again. It also asks to check the transfer history, nothing there either. I try again several more times and had zero luck until the day after. Lo and behold come Monday morning the transfer processed 5 individual times. Called CUTX and they said sorry, can’t do anything about it, thanks. Seriously? Dispute has been filed with my bank. The lack of care or concern on their end due to an internal flaw with their tech is alarming. I wouldn’t touch this financial institution with a 20’ pole in the future.

You know, it has been nearly a decade since we banked at a brick and mortar bank - we switched exclusively to online banking. Then, the inconveniences of having to get a cashier's check or certified bank check for certain milestones dawned on us (like downpayment for a house, or buying a car, for example). After encountering the aforementioned inconveniences, we decided to open up a brick and mortar bank account. We decided against opening up an account with a bank but opted to join a credit union instead. Let's just say that Nalini at the Bethany CUTX location was very accommodating and helpful when it came to assisting me with getting a cashier's check, despite opening our CUTX account two days prior and not having our funds available for another several business days. She walked me to the step and gave me alternative options to make it happen. I walked out with the cashier's check that I need, and got a free coffee at the Cozy Coffee right next door just for being a CUTX member! I'll be back to open up a CD with Nalini once we reconciled, consolidated and closed most of our online banking accounts. Always wanted to join credit union and I am glad we made CUTX our first credit union!
