I live close to this credit union and so I was happy I could walk here if needed to deposit money or whatever I may need with my bank. I had so many issues with this place. 1. I left an overnight deposit and when they hadn't deposited it into my account after 2 days, I called them, they found the deposit under something. 2. I went inside one day and the teller was rude and made me feel judged. 3. I went through the drive thru one morning after they were open, I was the only car there and it was not busy inside either, and I sat there for 5 minutes before a teller came to the window, when she did there was no greeting or acknowledgement of me. She never spoke to me until I just sent my deposit over. I never received any deposit slips or checks so she asked what I was doing. I told her I was doing a deposit. That was the only communication I had with her. No thank you or anything. I sent an email about this with no reply either. 4. After I closed my account I still received emails and mail, I emailed them once to ask to be removed and I still receive mail and emails from them so I had to reach back out to them. I was only with this credit union for about 8 months because I was so fed up with them. I ended up switching to Frost bank and I have had wonderful service every time. I've even used different locations and each one has been wonderful.

Last night, I submitted an auto loan application to Austin FCU. This morning, I was contacted by Mindy in the loan department, and she explained to me that I do not qualify for membership. Apparently, I do not live in the area of Austin that they prefer to do business. Furthermore, I asked her if the credit union allowed for membership based on military affiliation, and she said "no." This credit union does not allow acceptance into their organization for the men and women of this country who have fought so bravely to defend the freedom of all Americans. Draw your own conclusions.

They are so greedy that my Social Security Disability payment was directly deposited at 12:30 on Wednesday before Thanksgiving, but my money is pending until Tuesday, the 3rd, because that's what my award letter says! Then, they straight up lie about how the ssdi direct deposits are sent directly from the Treasury to the specific routing number of the branch where my account is.

I just purchased a used truck using Austin Federal Credit Union. I could not be happier with the professional service I received from Johnny! He went above and beyond to make my process easy. Further he was able to offer me an extended warranty through a 3rd party that gave me more peace of mind about my purchase. I would highly recommend Johnny and Austin FCU if you need financial services. Thank you!

We accidently sent money here instead of A+ Federal Credit Union because of the bogus way they list their business. Caught it same day, asked for money to be returned they have held money not belonging to them for 6 days! That's theft! I would never never do business or trust finances to such a dishonest group
