They should win an award for best financial institution in the city of Austin. Could not be a better place to do business with, they welcome you in as a member and make you feel like part of their family. Everyone from Jan in account services, to Sonia the banker and Katie in loans. This is a unique culture you don’t find often anymore. Everyone is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable.

Went to the PECU drive thru branch in Oak Hill for a cashiers check withdrawal. No other customers were there, so we did not have to wait. The teller was pleasant and notified us about the $3 fee for a cashiers check. Thought it should cost less than that just to print out a check, but it is what it is. Since we’ve been banking with PECU for over 40 years, everything about it seems terribly outdated. The employees are always nice, but I wonder if there is newer technology available now.

My issues were handled in record time - everyone that I talked with was professional, knowledgeable, and so very helpful. I have had an account at PECU for over 40 years and have always been treated with respect and received interest rates that far lower than anywhere else.

I want to personally thank Diana Miller for her superior communication, caring, and expertise while doing business with PECU. I am the Power of Attorney/Agent for my mother's accounts, and I have encountered many hurdles and pitfalls while dealing with other organizations. But Diana helped make PECU the bright spot. My family and I are eternally grateful for Diana.

They offer a "High interest checking" account that looks too good to be true. That's cause it is. They offer 5 TIMES the interest rate as their money market for funds above $15k, but they have a litany of "qualification" requirements clearly designed to trip you up so they can deny you the advertised rate. Very scummy practice. I doubt anyone is actually earning the amount they're advertising.
