Good Afternoon Austin, each day that you are blessed to encounter....do the City, the State, the Country, & The World A Favor. It is No Place In This World....For Hate. 😏💔 I have been a member at DPS Credit Union & only GOD KNEW WHY I JOINED. DAVID, & Micheal: two tellers have been literally two of the most kind, & helpful people in my life. At 61 yrs old none of us know when or how anyone can change our lives... when we are at our lowest. I have been reaching out to the people of Austin as ive endure the Undeserved, Cruel and Unheard Of Property Management.... Stalking, Traumatizing & Mentally In All Aspects Annilating A person...Disabled with PTSD. (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder!) David has been so kind, compassionate and Actually, Factually Stpped DMA Props/Co... Not really sure which is 100% percent right from messing with my Disability Payments. This is 1 of many things this Amazing, Godly Youngman has done tonhelp me.make it this far. Everyone who lives over 55 yrs old, and every senior living needs to be aware &,Frightened By The Crimes This Dangerous Management Company...has already gotten away with. Every one in the building has left me to suffer 1 year, 9 months & 17 days..... ("ALONE!") 👈🏽✝️ GOD HAS NEVER LEFT MY SIDE AND BELIEVE ME WHEN I GAVE THIS HATE-FILLED, MENTAL ANNILATION TO HIM HE HAS PROVEN TO ME...AS HE ALWAYS HAS....TRUST IN HIM. ✝️🙋🏽♂️❤️ DAVID: Youngman You have been and will Always Have My Appreciation & Love. Your Family, Freinds and This World....is exactly how GOD INTENSED Human-Beings to behave. As this continues I Want To Thank DPS for hiring these 2 youngmen who had no idea how they have changed my life. This day & The All The. Days To Come...would not have been possible without David & Micheal.❤️ Good & Love To The World....🫂❤️↔️🌍🌻

We've been members for several years now. I've had to call a few times due to login issues, my fault not the system. Fortunately for me "Russ" is always on duty and ready to assist. I appreciate his positive attitude and professionalism!

I have been a member of Texas DPS Credit Union for at least 15 years. Every employee is very personable, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I have had two cars financed by TXDPS Credit Union — and no one could beat their low finance charge. I love coming to visit when I have to do business with my account. Thank you also for the Client Appreciation Day!

Decade member status. Don’t ever get a credit card here. Worst service ever and questionable practices on personal information security. Their 3rd party automated system runs you around and around. No one at the actual office when called can do payments for you, they tell you to call the number on the card…which only, says “call if card is lost or stolen”….it doesn’t say call for customer service. I simply wanted to pay it off, with a person, and be done, but then they tell you it’s a $25 dollar service fee to do so, and if you don’t have the physical card with you are out of luck using their automated system or online banking. The rep we spoke with said “we work for Texas DPS” but when you actually ask questions they admit they are offshore and can not even tell you your interest rate or transaction history, open date, they can not even close your card when you call the number on the back of the card. They say to call the credit union in TX, admittedly they are not employees of this institution but this institution has chosen the worst outsourcing you can find. So I can give my money to some random phone line off shore and a $25 fee, but nothing else, and the person on that phone line can not close my card. Their service only does payments. It’s a frustrating system. I have had cards with Amex, Citi, Discover, and APlus and UFCU and FNBO and other out of state credit unions and banks over the years, allllllll could tell me more in a phone call than this place does, and never never never charge me to pay them, offshore or not. None of my financial institutions ask for $25 dollars to pay off a card. Keep in mind, this was a “backup” for if my debit card at another institution was out of commission for “fraud” or “lost”…I literally just wanted to pay off a couple hundred dollars and they wanted to charge $25 for it to happen. Ridiculous. We are fortunate enough in our lives to not “need” credit cards for daily life like some I know do. All of ours are paid off, and every single other one never had us pay an extra fee to give them money. We keep them for “just in case”. This particular one was only used for the one off purchases when our debit cards were unavailable for unforeseen reasons. We kept our membership because we loved Austin when we were there. This was once a good place. Go back 20 years, fantastic! My kid even had a savings there. It was once a place that everyone knew everyone and cared to help. Reading other reviews it sounds like more of a train wreck now than it was 10 years ago plus. It’s gone down hill since the day Shirley Baker walked out the doors in terms of being a good place. The history of this place isn’t honored as it should be. We are closing our membership, they want to look fancy and act like a big credit union, but they are not that, and if you move, good luck having help. They spent so much on a remodel to be “relevant” and should have instead hired adequate and trained staff to handle their matters “in house” instead of outsourcing to whatever company they decided to use. I asked the representative when trying to make a payment, what company they were with, they refused to say the name or give any details except “offshore”….so whatever 3rd party they use, they can not even say we are with “Insert Name here, and are contracted by Texas DPS CU”……: I’ve researched offshore call centers, I know a thing or two, and this one gives the heebie jeebies, allllll others ever tell me who they work for really. After this payment for this card I’ll be changing my checking account number. American Express will give you exact details on who and where anytime….apparently Texas DPS CU doesn’t have a company willing to give out the details of who exactly is processing payments…. This credit union exists primarily for the fact they have their auto loan portfolio and other loan programs, they can’t do what other credit unions do. Daily banking is not a priority. Better service can be had else were. I highly suggest A Plus or UFCU if you are in the area. They also do better at keeping your information safe.

I can't say enough about the prompt and courteous service I have received for the psst 30 years as a member whether it's on the phone or in person. I have been a member since 1995 and have been a happy member since day one.
