BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I was so lucky to have been referred to TCCU for document notarization. I was helped immediately by Bryan Reed who was extremely knowledgeable and professional in notarizing my documents. He was very thorough while yet friendly. These documents were extremely important to me and Bryan gave me a peace of mind upon completion. For my notarization services, I required 2 witnesses to confirm my signature and was kindly helped by Melissa and John (TCCU employees). The process was pleasant and calming. I will never ever forget the kindness and professionalism shown to me by these TCCU employees. They were so accommodating! Travis County Credit Union is AMAZING and has the BEST STAFF! J. Bustamante

Well they fixed the paint on the outside of their building, it was illegible for who knows how long every time I would drive by. I asked a worker in Spanish why they misspelled the word Union? I was told that a manager known as "La Reina" told them to write onion as a funny play on words. I guess that's why they say Austin is a weird place?

Morgan and I had the absolute pleasure of working with Erica Camarillo, the Financial Empowerment Specialist at Travis County Credit Union. We cannot say enough wonderful things about her! From the very first interaction, Erica was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring we had the best experience possible. She made the entire process seamless, answering all my questions promptly and with great detail. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to exceed expectations truly distinguished her. It’s rare to find someone so passionate about providing exceptional customer service. If you're looking for someone who will treat you like family and make your banking and financial journey stress-free and enjoyable, Erica is the one to trust. Travis County Credit Union is lucky to have such a gem on their team!" Debbie/Morgan

Travis County Credit Union has cars towed that are parked in designated spots. These spots are not legibly designated due to the signage being very faded. They will tow you at your expense when this inevitably occurs as a result of such shoddy upkeep of their markings. In the photo below you can see an example, the wording meant as showing a designated spot is barley visible. I would never feel safe coming here with my vehicle. If your driving there double check your parking spot to make certain its not designated or I hope you know how to get home on foot. Trust me you do not want to deal with their towing partner, ATX Towing. They have terrible online reviews for good reason. Save yourself and your vehicle by going to another business instead.

I came in seeking support as a local business owner and survivor of abuse, ready to build something new from 20+ years of hard-earned skills. I’ve earned over $80,000/year for the past two years and asked for a credit line that reflected that. What I received was not financial evaluation—it was dehumanization. Behind closed doors, I heard one of your staff members mocking my application, tossing out judgments like I wasn’t even human. “What’s this guy even doing?” he said. Loudly. Carelessly. As if my life, my healing, and my effort were punchlines. Your “financial empowerment specialist” handed me a card with that title—then offered me nothing. Not an alternative. Not a pathway forward. Just a sterile excuse and a shrug. This isn’t empowerment. This is institutionalized contempt. And for survivors, builders, and visionaries trying to rise from hardship, it’s devastating. You lost a client today. But more than that, you lost a chance to be the kind of institution this world desperately needs. Do better.
