I’ve been a member of Mid-Tex Federal Credit Union for many years, and even though I moved away from Brown County about eight years ago, I still continue to use Mid-Tex as my bank. That alone says a lot about the level of service they provide. Recently, I worked with Kathie while purchasing a new vehicle, and she went completely above and beyond to help make the process smooth and stress-free. She was incredibly helpful, responsive, and took the time to make sure everything was handled the right way. I truly couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The excellent customer service is exactly why I’ve continued banking with Mid-Tex all these years, even after moving away. They treat their members like people, not just account numbers. I highly recommend Mid-Tex Federal Credit Union to anyone looking for a bank that genuinely cares about its members.

Mid-Tex truly has some of the best staff around. They consistently go above and beyond in everything they do, and it never goes unnoticed. Their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help make such a difference. Kathie and Bob are such a blessing. They are always so helpful, supportive, and a joy to work with. I’m very thankful for them and for the way they serve others so faithfully. Mid-Tex is fortunate to have people like them on their team.

Kathie went above and beyond to get me the best interest rate on an auto loan and was so quick and efficient. She was super nice and caring! I love Midtx FCU!

The people are friendly and helpful but the app isn’t great. If you use your Face ID to get into the app, eventually you will be locked out and have to change the password and security questions. My husband or I have this problem every 2-3 months. I suggest not using Face ID because the app has a HUGE problem with it!!!!

I really love all the ladies that work at Mid-tex, so it hurts me to write a negative review, but their policies and systems are just so outdated and expensive. The PopMoney system needs to be removed from the member area because Mid-Tex has no control over it and it is a horribly reviewed system that charges insanely high fees and is confusing to use. Aside from the wonderful gals that work there, my experience with Mid-Tex as a financial institution in the past has just been horrible. When my checks were stolen, it took me forever just to get half of the overdraft fees waived. I've done better with big banks than I have with Mid-Tex. It's sad because they have a great staff.
