Prepare yourself for long waits. This is the worst financial institution you can imagine. They don't value your time whether with a live teller, by phone or at one of their inhuman video tellers. Open accounts elsewhere. You can't go wrong skipping this place. I'm here on Wednesday 2/4 at 1:49.

I did a mortgage refinance which offers a free $500 gift card. I had to bust hoops for it by calling several times & being on hold over an hour. Then they asked me to call them back to check on the status of my gift card, claiming that there had not been enough time that passed since my closing (it had been 3 weeks) & that I had to wait a whole month. Sent an email to Leticia Lopez (the woman that did my refinance) I mentioned that I never received my gift card ; instead of it being automatically sent to me. Just beware if you refinance keep an eye out for your gift card because someone may be collecting them for themselves you donβt speak up.

Don't get your home financed with GECU, they sent my escrow reibursment to the wrong adress and they haven't resolve anything in over 3 weeks. They were also over charging me in my mortgage $200 per month, supposedly my payment was going down this month but they still charge me the wrong quantity eve tough updated monthly payment shows in the GECU app. Worst customer service.
