Last week (Nov 11) I tried to make a pmt with my credit card for $2900, it was declined even when I had plenty of available balance. It was embarrassing and I had to use another card. Today (Nov 19) I was trying to do another purchase for $470 and it was declined again. I called member services to try to find out what happened, After passing all the security questions and telling the story, they transferred me to card services, after passing all the security questions and telling my story, they referred me back to member services which, after passing all the security questions and telling my story again, they transferred me again to card services. After repeating the same cycle one more time (talked to 6 persons already) I asked to speak to a supervisor. She transferred me back to member services. Now I had to wait for them in line for about 10 minutes, nobody was answering. I hanged up and called again. Another security check, telling my story, another hold (the 5th. I think), he transferred me, but he called me back and said it was by accident, on hold again. Finally, the resolution: I have to call card services AGAIN!!! No problem, I will not be using this credit card again, I have another from another bank. I am feeling bad for giving them 1 star, their customer service don't even deserve it. Freddie J Mejia

American Airlines Federal Credit Union needs to improve customer service by monitoring tellers and training them like Next Please, thank you for waiting, and have a nice day.If that doesn't work you must document and use progressive discipline. It is sad to see these comments Also, too much paperwork even to buy CD,S. I should be able to buy them online.
