Do not get an auto loan with them. A slightly higher rate elsewhere may be better. I cant speak for every other loan they may offer but they make it tedious to make a principal payment to your loan. I called in one day to find out how to make a principal payment and I was told I can make regular payments via my outiside bank and I would just call in and ask for the payment to be adjusted. So I did just that and when I called in the next agent said they would get it changed amd that itbwould reflect in a few days. ~20days later it has not reflected as a principal payment and i decided to call in today and ask why. Turns out the last 2 people I spoke with 1. Misinformed me 2. Where misinformed themselves I was told this is "not possible". And that I would have to pay via mail in check, go into a branch office or deposit money in a savings account then pay from that account. Now that I have conflicting information I asked to speak to a supervisor. Several hours later I get a call back and Im told by the supervisor, the only way to make a principal payment is by mail in check or going in office... this did not include the information about paying from their savings account so i asked to verify "so those are the only 2 ways to make a principal payment? I cant pay through my savings" And the supervisor assured me that i couldnt do that, until i told her how the last agent said i could and then they have the audacity to tell me the only way i can do that is if i deposit money into my savings first then pay towards the principal?? As if i didnt just ask that. They they told me the easiet way to pay would to get a checking book, get stamps and a letter then mail them a check? That is literally the most unsecure and time consuming way... All in all they CAN adjust the payment to a princpal payment from an outside account as they did for me (which is why i gave them 2 stars instead of 1), they just refuse to. It seems like they just want to make it tedious enough to make you not want to pay the principal of course to get the interest out of you. Funny enough USAA a BANK gives me the option to pay the principal from their app before a credit union did.

Just received a new car loan from EECU. Rate was really great. Customer service was OK. My wife is now considering refinancing her auto loan. Spoke with two different loan officers today. Neither was very friendly and the 1st one seemed to be inconvenienced by having to assist us. Another loan officer provided information we were looking for but also seemed a little put out. Really feel like rates take precedence over Customer Service at EECU!

I worked with Armando Rangel at the 1617 West 7th street Fort Worth, Texas location. Very professional and trustworthy person. He understood my needs and was extremely helpful in assisting me obtain my goals. I highly recommend him abd this location to anyone seeking financial services in the future. I sought assistance from EECU because of issues I had with Heily GMC of Fort Worth. I continued to get the run around from the dealership concerning charges that were not clear to me as the customer. Ryan and Armando from EECU provided the knowledge and expertise i needed to obtain a refund and reduce my payment. I thank them for all the hard work they provided me for all their efforts. Sincerely, Ramiro Arreola

We have had EECU for 11 years and have been extremely happy with the service provided. We've gotten great rates on vehicle and personal loans. I alway recommend EECU for vehicle refinancing and all banking needs!
