We had an excellent experience with RGV Credit Union, thanks to Cathy Cuevas. I came in to open several accounts, and the process was not routine. My mother and I both needed assistance, and Cathy handled everything with professionalism, patience, and care. A few weeks later, Cathy also helped us with wire transfers to several different financial institutions. Because I live out of town, we communicated mostly by email, and I had many questions along the way. Cathy was incredibly responsive, we must have emailed back and forth at least ten times, and she made sure everything was handled correctly. We truly could not have completed these transactions without her help. Cathy was friendly, patient, and consistently responsive throughout the entire process. She provided outstanding member service, and we had a great experience working with her. I highly recommend RGV Credit Union and especially Cathy for her exceptional service. Cris Petykowski

I recommend just looking for a different bank. There is so much better out there. I had to go to a different bank to cash my check yesterday when I have been banking with RGVCU for more than 15+ years. Mary the branch manager wanted to give me back $400 on a $3900 check, the decided $900 while keeping the rest of the amount on a hold. I understand policy but I have been a member for years, the tellers know who i am, and my occupation, she made it extremely difficult for me. I had to go to a different bank just to cash my check. I will never recommend RGVCU. to anyone. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

I had the best experience ever! April greeted with a smile. She's very friendly, professional, attentive to my needs, empathetic, efficient, and very knowledgeable.
