This Credit union is someone you need to build a relationship with for all your banking needs! I got my car refinanced with them so I had a savings account immediately but after dealing with them for a couple questions and answers I realized their customer service and approval process was amazing! Lori called me about a summer loan and they made everything so easy! Lori was great in answering all my questions and they don’t have a branch in my state but someone with this kind of customer service I will bank with anyways! Thank you Hughes for doing banking the way it should be!

Do yourself a favor and select a different credit union. For years we’ve been trying to get my father to close out his accounts here since they were paying him 0.30% on 12-Month CD’s when the market rate was above 4.0%. Not that it would have benefitted him any, but being a decades-long member with the organization did not seem to matter. We had to make a visit recently to close out the accounts for his estate. No compassion expressed by anyone in the office regarding our loss. Nearly $40 in fees and penalties later we had the funds in hand, and we were very glad to have this banking ‘relationship’ closed out. In this member’s case BHFCU failed their mission of “not for profit, not for charity, but to be the financial backbone for our member-owners by providing the best products and caring professionalism to meet their needs from now and into the future”.

Don’t. Just don’t. Stop. Hit the back button. Tried to do a mortgage application with them. Know what their customer service team member said? We don’t talk to Mortgage. Please contact them yourself. If you want customer service and an easy process? Go elsewhere.

Why is this place always closed on Saturdays? I've driven out of my way 3 times in the last 3 months, just to show up to closed credit union. Update your website or leave a pre-recorded message with accurate business hours. This place has no consideration for its customers, terrible customer service!

Worst fckn place ever to use as a credit union or refinance… you can’t get in touch with anyone ever, they take unauthorized payments and it took them several months to transfer titles into my name and a year to complete total transaction and the vehicle was already in my possession
