0 !!! DO NOT BANK HERE PLEASE !!!Long hold times for walk-in deposited checks , 2 weeks OR MORE doesn't include weekends even if you have more than enough money available in account , app is inoperable most of the time .Will LOCK CREDIT/ DEBIT CARD FREQUENTLY ESPECIALLY ON WEEKENDS. Customer SERVICE LINE CAN NEVER HELP WITH UNLOCKING HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL BANK REOPENS DURING THE WEEK. Will leave you stranded , if you just happen to only have this card w/you. Lobby smells horrible , workers always seem tired or have an attitude..list goes on ... Hope things change ๐Ÿ™. Don't bank here .

If I could give ZERO stars I would. After being a member since 1991 when I joined as a new young employee, this credit union has gone down. How do you have a voice mail system and no one to answer the phones. Where is all the staff. Not to mention the 866 customer service line on the back of my card does not work either. I have money here that I can't use because no one will answer my calls. As soon as I can get to the medical center, I will be closing this account. Lord protect my money because all the good staff who cared are no longer here and I do not trust the system in place.

I had an account with them and they had a fraudulent charge at 12 midnight on my card at a gas station. I called them and told them it was not me I was at home because I had to work at 6am. The associate made it seem like I was lying and said I had to do a police report to prove it. The problem is the sheriff will not do a report if the charge is under 100.00 the charge was 98.00 I have never spent that much at a gas station I have an avalon which takes 50 bucks to fill up . So i never got my money back so I decided to no longer use them as my banking facility. You guys suck and are wrong for what you did to me you didn't even care to investigate the charge. Don't bank with this credit union. I guess if you're not a rich person, they dont care about you. Because I didn't have a high balance, the rep told me.

If i could give 0 stars thats what I would give!!! on 12/14/2023 i lost my debit card. I noticed it on 12/16/2023 and i tried to check my account online but as usual the website was down. So on the following business day i went into the bank and reported the charges that were placed on my account. I informed the bank that i did not authorize those charges I was told to call the 1800 number to report the charges...... Then i called and the dept kept giving me the run arounds they asked me what was my card number (mind you i lost the card) I was told they couldnt help me without the card number and that i needed to go back to the bank and get that information.... I did so i also filed a police report and told the police i want to press charges so they forwarded my case to the fraud department. I was told by the bank that it would take 15 days to return my funds and wait for a letter in the mail from the bank. I got a letter stating they put the money back in my account (still not there as of today) on 12/20 but nope it wasnt. I went to the bank today 12/29 and the person that handles that is out and nobody else in this damn bank can help me..... DONT PUT YOUR MONEY IN THIS BANK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At one point Bayou City was a really great credit union, not anymore. My biggest problem with them is the ATMs. There are only 2 of them. One in the UT building and one in Hermann. You can't access either of them!!! The UT closes the atm at 430 after the bank closes and you can't even get in Hermann to get to the ATM unless you are a patient or an employee due to covid. I called earlier to ask someone about that and the first girl told me I could use any atm. I already knew that, but why would I want to use another atm and pay unnecessary fees when I can I use the atm at the institute that I bank with. She then gave me a number to speak with someone else. I left a voicemail and the lady called me right back. She was very nice and she explained why the atm is locked after leaving. Apparently, the homeless were going into the atm and damaging them. I completely understand that. However, this is an inconvenience to the customers of the credit union. Normal working hours are 9 to 5. How does the credit union suppose you get your money if you are not able to get to the credit union in time? I guess you would have to take off work just to go to the bank to get your money ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„. You should be able to get off, go to the atm, and get your money stress free, but I digress. It just sucks all the way around.
