Will be changing banks as soon as some 403b issues are worked out regarding a hardship loan. Over the 20 years with them I've had multiple issues. Once trying to charge me $800 in overdraft fees when I was signed up for joint accounts. Haven't received my new debit card in the mail in the past 7 years. Forgot to take the money from the ATM after the withdrawal. When I returned the money was gone, they gave me a $25 voucher which to me means the investigation is over before it even started. Modern ATM's suck the money back in the rollers after about 30-60 seconds of it not being pulled from the rollers. So if this is their Main newest branch why do they have outdated ATM machines? With the $800 overdraft fees situation they claimed I signed a form stating I would pay these fees by federal law on form "D" I asked them to produce those form, they could not. All overdraft charges dropped. Then there's their app. I have ghost transactions on it. Transactions will show up as having gone thru then disappear from the app, only to show back up a few days later. Also the pending charges doesn't properly reflect my available balance. I told the customer service rep about this and she told me to track my money better. I told her that's exactly the point of the app! Also sometimes my debit card would flat out not work in the wee hours of the night for usually about an hour. A pretty serious problem if you need gas and don't have cash. Total garbage credit union

The absolute worst customer service. There was a charge on my debit card that I did not authorize and they refused to reimburse my funds. This started with an insurance claim for a cell phone with Asurion Wireless. I paid the deductible and Asurion sent the new phone. There was also a prepaid package and I was expected to send back the old phone. I sent it back and have proof of delivery. However, Asurion charged me a $300 fee stating they didn't receive the phone. Once I confronted them with the tracking number, they admitted that it was a mistake and told me they would refund my money. Attached are photos of the tracking. As of now, Asurion still has not refunded my money. When I tried to go through MCCU to dispute the charge, my claim was denied. I'll be changing banks soon. If I wanted to get treated poorly, I can just go to one of the big banks.

MCCU has the best deals after a long search of lower auto loan rates. Cindy at the Katy office is warm, professional, prompt & has been a pleasure to work with. I'll be reaching out again for other needs (mortgage, credit card, etc). Very excited that this local credit union is growing with offices near me (Lake Jackson :)

If you need things done definitely Veronica Macdonald is the one you need to speak with. She seemed to be the only one who truly cared about our situation and truly wanted to help us and was concerned. She super professional and nice the whole time even with our frustration she understood and kept it 100 with us the whole time. We truly don’t know what we would have done without her help. THANK YPU SOO MUCH VERONICA MACDONALD!!!
