Disorganized and understaffed. The manager claimed that all of the paperwork requirements for opening an account for a nonprofit were not met. When asked for a list of paperwork requirements she disappeared for 20+ minutes before returning and saying that it would be against the credit union's policy to provide that information. The attorney that prepared all the nonprofit's paperwork has never had a client's documents be rejected before today. Space City Credit Union refusing to provide a written list of documentation because it'd be a "protocol violation" is super sketchy. The manager couldn't even verbally list all the paperwork requirements, but was completely confident that our documentation "didn't meet Space Center Credit Union standards." Considering that there's only 1 person (who was never provided training) handling 100% of the accounts for this location; it seems infinitely more likely that the manager is also untrained, unfamiliar with the requirements for opening a nonprofit account, and has no intention of learning.

I want to shout out Alyssa G. for her excellent customer service! She assisted me last week with my skip a pay and kept me informed throughout the process. I truly appreciate you for always taking good care of me when it comes to my car loan and being so sweet! YOU'RE THE BEST!! THANK YOU!!!

I would like to Thank Eddie Soto at Space City Credit Union for the endless support and fantastic service. He has assist from the start of my time first starting out as a member with SCCU. The assistance and advice and his professional support is top notch and Nothing but great service. He has assisted me from small loans to major transactions, Its been an honor to continue to be a member with such a great credit union. And Brining along my family members to begin their journey to having A1 credit in life which is a Must, He assisted my Step son and my Wife as they begun their journey in Space City. My entire family is very grateful for the endless support that Mr.Soto has provided. Space City continues to assist me and my family tremendously.
