If you are looking for a small Bank to build a relationship with this is NOT the place. One notable mention is Roslyn Nixon at the 290 Branch. Her desk is a mess, she is unorganized and incompetent and on top of that she is rude and condescending. I could only be a client for a year. Should have read the reviews first. With all the credit unions out there steer clear of this one. Terrible customer service. No deposit availability at ATM. Takes way to long to get credit even for a cash deposit. “0” stars if possible!

Unacceptable Customer Service Experience I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I recently received. I have been both a member and a Transco/Williams employee for 35 years, and I expected better treatment from your institution. Earlier this week, I had been in contact with Tatum by phone and email regarding a new car loan. Tatum instructed me to bring my spouse in on a Saturday to open a checking account, as he needed to sign the card in person. However, when we arrived after driving a long distance, Rosalyn denied us entry because we did not have an appointment — something I was never informed was required. I explained the situation to Rosalyn, emphasizing that we only needed to sign the card for the checking account opening. They even called Tatum, but no effort was made by either person to assist us. This lack of communication, inflexibility, and unwillingness to help was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. As a long-standing member, I find this experience unacceptable and contrary to the level of service I would expect. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and review your customer service and appointment policies to prevent other members from experiencing the same.

I have been with Transtar Federal Credit Union 2005. I have had outstanding services with this Credit Union Ms. Roslyn Nixon has superb serviced and all of the members. This lady knows her job in and out and I love the way she trains her bank teller they're very sufficient.

Being apart of a small credit union, was useful when people wanted to do their job. I have been a member of this entity for as long as I can remember. There was an issue with my credit card and talking to the Loan officer Tatum, she did not want to explain or assist me with my concerns. It took me talking to Jay to have her explain to me why my bill cycle was the way it was. Not only did she not want to answer my calls, she did not want to answer my emails. I was thinking of financing my car through them but its just time to move on to a national credit union. People here are so comfortable with their job that they have no interest in meeting the needs of their members. We are done here.

I parked in a handicap spot for less than 3 minutes before a woman with short white hair came out and told me I “could not” park in a handicap parking space. I asked, “Are you asking for me to display my placard, or are you making an assumption?” She replied, “oh no I’m just saying, you aren’t a member so you can’t park here.” To make two assumptions based on my car alone, and only being there 3 minutes is absolutely laughable. She has no idea if I had business in the bank, the location next door, or both. Additionally, unless she had a license plate reader that is linked to union accounts there is no way she could possibly “know” that I am not a member there.Or is business that slow that you know ever human and their family members that are members of your entire credit union? People like this woman are probably why the parking lot is empty, and the only vehicles in the parking lot are those of employees. When your parking lot is empty, it is probably not a good idea for the business, for you to police others and be rude.Making blanket assumptions in regards to the few people that have entered the parking lot of your establishment is a bad look. To note, my household does have an account here and will be sure it is closed expeditiously.
