Terrible bank! I ordered checks, called 3 weeks later to see if they were ready they said “oh I guess we forgot to order them” (second time in a row that they forgot) so they order them again, they come in and they have the wrong address, an address that hasn’t been on my account in months, they argue with me and don’t want to take the checks back, I leave the checks there and tell them I need ones with the right address, they ordered the new ones and charged me again for new checks… any time I call and try to fix things they say we’ll have to send this to our manager and we’ll call you, they never do. We have gotten overdraft fees when something was processing and we had money in before it did, they have told us “we don’t refund fees, this is how we make our money” We have had problem after problem here and the workers have no emotion to anything and are unhelpful.

I'm happy to be banking with this credit union. However the location in the middle of town is extremely slow in the drive thru. You can be the ONLY car there and it will take 10-20min every time! It's ridiculous hour much time I spend waisted sitting in their drive thru. Yes they apologize but when you are the only vehicle in the drive thru it is VERY aggravating. - Everytime I go to make a deposit I'm there for over 10 minutes no matter what. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

Bank downtown might be the worst branch out of all of them: lady interrupts me on the phone call when explaining the issue we are having. - Very Very rude customer service at this branch specifically.

Very shady bank. Bank elsewhere. Terrible, We have been banking with this company for about 7 years now. Within the past 2 years they have sold out and had several "secret" policy changes that they don't notify the customer about. They continually rotate job positions within the bank so no one is held liable for anything. Their excuse is "I'm sorry you feel that way" or "They are new to this position, and whoever worked with you before-hand no longer works in said position." Ask for copies of everything you sign, or random paperwork will go "missing,". They will charge you for overdraft fees like crazy, even if you have a lot of money or very little in your account. Even if you sign paperwork to turn the overdraft off, they will somehow pull up a paper from 3+ years back with a random date that says you signed it, and they have no records of you signing one to turn it off. They will pull from random savings and or checking without even notifying you. They will lock your card over " fraudulent " activity that their third party users think would be fraudulent (apparently whataburger is suspicious activity) and not notify you that your account is locked, but still charge you multiple times for overdraft fees on any locked card. Don't even think about financing a vehicle through them. They have extreme high interest rates that you will be putting most of your money towards before paying off the initial loan. Make sure you have your insurance company notify them, otherwise they will just assume you don't have vehicle insurance and tax on fees. If you drive by the bank by the veterans hospital, see how many vehicles they repo a month, there will be tons and new ones every month. Whenever they built that back lot for repossessed vehicles, that's when this company changed. This bank is very corrupt, greedy, and out to screw the customer. It does not represent the Kerr County area. They should definitely do a name change. We are banking elsewhere now. If you are still banking here be diligent in looking at your account every day. There will be changes that you werent expecting, I guarantee it.

I have had numerous issues with this Credit Union (I’m a member of multiple banks including other credit unions) Their security regarding debit card fraud is terrible, I’ve had around 3 debit cards since banking there, they will turn your debit card purchase ability off with no notice because they suspect fraud and I’ve been stuck all weekend with no money or ability to pay for anything. They also repoed my car after I paid 2 payments and still no one to contact over the weekend. Customer service is pathetic and unprofessional and honestly don’t care about customer service because they have plenty of members so you don’t really matter! Do yourself a favor and go to RBFCU or somewhere where you will be appreciated!
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
