I was visiting family and remembered this crappy place. I remember my first debit card ever being with them. I was 19 years old and had been helicoptered over my whole life by parents who didn't teach me actual life skills, so when I was on my own and had to cash my first check from my first job, I didn't know how to do it. The lady was so rude and hesitant and just like... stared at me, barely wanting to show me how to do it. That was fine... But years later during covid someone hacked one of my accounts and stole hundreds of dollars from me. I contacted everyone I could, canceled everything I could, and did everything, but these people said there was nothing they could do to get that money back for me. Literally said it was me that authorized that money being taken. ...Cool. There are various reasons I do not miss banking here, now that I have accounts with other banks. Banks that aren't inconvenient to use, the employees arent rude, the overdraft fees aren't constant and terrible, and also, banks that let you use things like cash app without giving you crap. Don't use this place👎

This credit union is amazing, I have been with them since I was probably 18 and now I'm almost 40 yrs old! I have closer to home options with flexible hours to fit my schedule, but year after year I choose to stay with GCTFCU. The staff work together in unison, if you like going to a business where you will be treated with dignity and like family, this Credit Union strives to do that! Thanks GCTFCU.
