TLDR: Polite workers, quick service, easy fixes to your problems. Amazing people. They never seem to be super busy and the staff have never done me wrong. I had one time where I was told i'd have to wait a few days for the check to clear. I politely mentioned that usually that wasn't the case, and they promptly double checked and got my check to cash right away, and admitted that they had missed something small. (Either way, would've still gotten my money, but their loyalty and kindness still goes a long way.) More recently I had an issue with my card where it was declining (I put in the wrong pin a few times because it was 4:30 in the morning and I was half awake.) Found the time to call them, and they promptly helped me solve the issue.

I came in the Thursday before Good Friday at the La Porte branch and it was packed and chaotic. However the woman at the teller line, I think she said her name was Christina but I forget, was kind and very helpful. She was attentive, cheerful, and although she had trainee on her name tag, she was skillful and was able to help me very quickly. I look forward to continuing doing business with this location.

My husband had came home after visiting Laporte Beacon fcu and told me about the new lady Christina that works there now. She was in training and he was so surprised by her professionalism and friendlyness, she also wrote a positive uplifting note on his envelope of cash. I must also add that he has never had any complaints about this place.

29 year relationship down the drain because i ran into some financial problems. i was told they didnt want my business anymore and to come up there get my money and close my account. so that is what happened today. i did enjoy the first 27 years tremendously, but the last two years was the most horrible experience i have ever had with any business. i have never been made to feel so unwelcome by any business. you dont have to worry i am no longer a customer. just dont have financial trouble and you will probably be alright, but the amazing service days are done. ✌️
