It was my first time using this credit union for the purchase of a vehicle and the staff there was absolutely amazing. They were accommodating and very friendly. I worked with Carmyn to process my loan and she was great! She was knowledgeable, friendly and made sure that I understood every part of the process. The process was smooth and streamline and took very little time. I would recommend Lufkin Federal Credit Union to anyone who is preparing a purchase or just want a good banking experience. T

I've been banking here for 13 years at least. I have financed a car and have had multiple personal loans that have been paid completely and never late on payments. There is no advantage to having a local bank when you are still treated like a nobody. I tried to get a personal loan and they only offered me a third of what I was asking. Even though I have been faithful to them they couldn't help me because the numbers weren't right in their system. This bank was established and grew off the backs of workers of Lufkin industries. I was one of those workers. I will be moving my banking somewhere else because there is no reason to bank with Lufkin Federal credit Union. It's a shame that there's no such thing as local loyalty anymore.

The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the receptionist. I only had to wait a short time for my loan officer (Sherry). She was able to help me with my loan needs in a fast and professional manner. I would do business with them again.

I have banked with LFCU for a few years now. The service has always been good and the loans are great. The interest rates are low compared to traditional banks and my loan officer Sherry gets an A+++ for putting things together for me.
