UPDATE: I took in my husbands payroll check to deposit it. Same company that has direct deposited for 2 months. They put a 3 day hold on his payroll check ( because it’s from out of state) but releases $225. She said she couldn’t do anything about it as it was policy and she was going to get her manager “since we had a problem before”. She also explained the day I deposited didn’t count for the 3 day hold. Snarky and rude. Not to mention they are racking up their fees again as we had payments scheduled. When I mobile deposited his first check from us working out of town, they told me “just come in and cash it”. Apparently if you write a review or challenge their “policies”, cashing your payroll check is not an option. I don’t know what it is about Wink, Texas customer service, but it’s horrendous. ***Avoid this credit union like the plague. If you use mobile deposit they hold your money for 5 days, and don’t tell you, then charge you nsf fees until it clears. And according to Rosemary at the Wink branch Friday and Monday don’t count for the 5 days. Rudest phone call ever!! God forbid you have to work out of town and mobile deposit money. They will soak you for every penny you have!!! Even though your check shows deposited!!!! Thieves!!!

Extremely rude and unprofessional! I was depositing a large insurance check at their parkway branch. The young man at the counter told me that they couldn't deposit the money into my checking account but instead that it would go into my savings. I told him that that really doesn't make any sense. He went to speak to a lady named 'Norma' to see if they could deposit the check into my checking instead of my savings. He came back and told me that that was the policy and there was nothing he could do. I asked him how moving my money around like this was a benefit to me as a customer and that was when Norma butted into the conversation and told me that I was "lucky that I only had to wait 3 days for my money and not 7". This was totally out of left field. I never, once, complained about the fact that there would be a delay on the deposit but, I guess, that is what Norma assumed the issue was because she made the "I was lucky I only have to wait 3 days and not 7" threat several more times. After I got my deposit slip, I spoke with who they said was the manager who was less helpful than Norma. All she did was argue with me that what Norma was saying wasn't a threat to make me wait longer for my deposit to go through but that she was sorry I saw it that way. It was appalling! As soon as I can I'm closing my accounts and moving my money to Complex Community Federal Credit Union. I hear that they are extremely polite and professional. Now the best word I can use to describe Southwest Heritage Credit Union on Parkway in Odessa is.... Ghetto. Ghetto people. Ghetto attitude towards customers. Ghetto inside and out. Take your money to CCFCU!!!Trust.

Extremely rude and condescending, refused to even help me and my grandmother, despite being members there at the time. The loan manager didn’t even process our application and then insisted I leave and kept accusing me of elder abuse, and telling my grandmother she didn’t have to do anything she didn’t want too. Despite, the fact my grandmother was telling her and then yelling at her that she wasn’t being made to do anything she didn’t want to. So the loan manager just flat out told us she wasn’t going to process anything and that she didn’t feel comfortable, so she asked us to leave. All this for a small loan that was going to be used to pay off debt and start building credit.
