I have been with Texans since 1969 when I initially started working at Texas Instruments. I retired in 2013 and still with Texans for their super customer service and excellent benefits. Originally Texans was Texins (was for Texas Instruments employees only). TI sold part of their company to Raytheon and then Texins branched out to be available to all and changed the name to Texans. After all these years Texans is still the great company that existed back in 1969. I have had auto, personal, and home loans with Texans and all were excellent. My recent auto loan and working with Michael Armendariz at Texans proved to be such an easy procedure at a great interest rate. Michael made the loan process totally painless and left no questions to be answered. He assured that everything was to my satisfaction and I was 100% happy with the loan completion. I would recommend Michael and Texans for any of your loan needs on a house, personal, and/or vehicle/boat/motorcycle loan. With Texans teamed up with Michael, you have the best of the best- definitely a winning combination. Texans with Michaels assistance are still the ultimate and pain free!!!!

If you’re still searching for a credit union, let me tell you this about Texans Credit Union. I’ve had accounts and loans from them in the past but this new loan was closer to the heart. I started this 3 week process with Jason Stone. I told him I’m going to buy my Son’s first car for his 16th Birthday. I sent him multiple VIN’s to make sure they qualify for a warranty and ends up the car getting sold to someone else and I have to start the prices with Jason all over again. Jason was so patient, so professional, and never refused to help me or say he will have someone else help me. That kind of customer service is hard to come by and I’m very thankful for the great customer experience. I finally ended up finding a vehicle. Unfortunate Jason was off that day, but Geoff Shields picked upright where Jason left off. Geoff too was patient with every question I had and not once did he tell me that I had to wait for Jason to finish up the paperwork. He jumped right in and said I’ll be more than happy to help complete this process for you. When it came to the paperwork, explanation of the contract, sending multiple emails to me and the seller Geoff was on his “A” game for sure. It got done, check cut, car in hand. Thank you both Jason Stone and Geoff Sheilds for all your hard to make this memorable moment for my Son possible. I truly appreciate you both and Texans Credit Union.

I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding customer service I recently received from two of your team members, Cheristy and Amber. My experience with them was exceptional and absolutely worth recognizing. I contacted Texans Credit Union regarding an urgent issue involving an unauthorized recurring charge. After Texans completed their investigation, the $74 credit that was temporarily issued to me was reversed, and I became concerned about future charges continuing. I reached out to Member Services to close my secured credit card to prevent any additional billing. Unfortunately, my first two calls did not go well. I was disconnected twice after explaining my situation, and the overall experience left me frustrated and considering whether I should continue banking with Texans at all. I have had a long and positive history with Texans Credit Union, so this was extremely disappointing. However, when my call was finally answered by Cheristy, everything changed. She demonstrated exceptional patience, professionalism, and genuine care. She took the time to fully understand my situation and went above and beyond to help me find a solution. She walked me through options in the Texans app, provided clear explanations, and reassured me that there were steps available to protect my account. What truly stood out was that she didn’t stop at the basics. She reached out to management to explore whether a specific form or internal process could prevent future unauthorized charges on my secured credit card. She even followed up with me after speaking with her colleague Amber, who also assisted in reviewing my situation and helping move things toward a resolution. Both Cheristy and Amber treated me with respect, patience, and empathy during a time when I felt stressed and unheard. Their professionalism restored my confidence in Texans Credit Union. It has been a very long time since I have experienced customer service at this level, and I am truly grateful for their dedication. Employees like them deserve recognition, not only for their excellent work but for the positive impact they have on members like me. PLEASE ensure that both Cheristy and Amber receive acknowledgment for their outstanding service. Thank you for your time, and thank you again to these two remarkable team members!

I have been a member of the Texans Credit Union since 1984. I have always been more than pleased with their service. Whether in the Credit Union or on the phone they are professional and friendly. Today when I called with a question, Byron went above and beyond with additional services that he could see would give me more for my money. Even though this wasn't the reason for my call, I was happy he made the recommendation as I signed up immediately. This is the type of customer service that I've come to expect from them and they never disappoint.
