A member since the late ‘70s, I’ve always had excellent service from Concho Educators. I’ve appreciated the tellers calling me by name and offering up a friendly smile. This is not happening so often now that I primarily use drive-thru due to mobility issues., but there is one young Black man who always has a welcoming smile and a pleasant word for me. I appreciate the courteous customer service he gives.

In recent years Ive had no issues and have actually enjoyed working with them. That changed this month when I needed a new card, they said they would mail it TWICE and I never got it despite confirming my mailing address. No worries things happen, then I tried to get my card renewed physically before I had to leave town. Didnt work either. They locked the card or had failed to renew it correctly. I came in today and the teller turned and walked away and ignored me. I pressed "call teller" and asked to close my account immediately. She asked if I wanted to wait to which I said "no, right now" Unacceptable behavior and totally incompetent! With a credit union acting as badly as this Im going to make sure my clients, friends, and family do not work with them either. Im now looking for a new bank and am back in town early. Just bad.

Sadly, my mom and I use to bank long ago and left because of poor customer service. Thought I would give them a chance since local to me. Absolutely not, United Heritage Credit Union took care of me over the phone with a motorcycle loan in a few hours not even local. Concho Educators mailed me a letter WEEKS later for credit application not even a phone call. All good I pay all my crazy purchases but lesson learned.

My Son opened an account for the very first time today, and the experience we had was amazing! Everyone was so sweet, and extremely helpful! We definitely made the right choice in our banking option!

Update….No one will answer the phone at the 306 loop office. Called twice before they closed. This is unacceptable. Was supposed to have forms sent to email and have received nothing. Last year they sent cards out to wrong addresses. We got my buddy’s card who didn’t have anything to do with my address. Mine went to our old house that we haven’t live in since 2016. Now to today’s problem. My card went out as of April. They did not send a new one. They said they ran out of cards…that’s why I didn’t receive mine. Now I have to fill out a form to receive it and go pick it up. This is not right. Maybe a message or some type of communication would have been nice. This is not how a Bank should operate. Been with this bank a long time. Seems to be going down hill.
