This credit union and I has had history since my childhood. Mostly I will say, I will not bank with anyone else. However, I received a call from bank staff regarding possible fraud on Friday after 4pm which I was working. Several failed attempts were made on Saturday morning before my 10:30 am work day. Finally, I was able to use automated response system and dial 0 to speak to someone. The phone rang 2 times, then went to a busy signal and the phone hung up. This happened twice. My suggestion to this union is if you are open half a day on Saturday, then have an operator to answer the phone. Also, I’m unable to drive to the union since I live 20-30 minutes away. Please fix this.

Love this Credit union! No hidden fees, but the best part is the customer care. They go beyond service to customer care. I delt with fraud and identity theft several times over the years with banks. This credit union has protected my account from fraud on multiple occasions within the last 7 years ive been with them due to personal attention and good policy. The president is even diligent and involved. Thank you John Mark and Marcella!

Never use Educators Credit Union they are the absolute worst, they gave out my personal information after 13 years of banking with them so it's not like they didn't know who I was. On top of this I lost about $300 which it does not seem like much but that is besides the point however Sarah the branch manager of Hewitt gave my personal information out for someone not listed on the account. After speaking to the highway 6 location of Educators Credit Union I was advised to leave their building and never return as they were being hateful I got yelled at and cursed at and even told that they would report me to the credit bureau for having a negative balance. I've already reported Educators Credit Union for loosing money and fraudulent transactions. They will probably reply saying I owe a negative balance even though it was fraud. Avoid this bank at all cost and if they report me to the credit bureau I'm filing it as fraud. Even more so through all this they have closed peoples accounts without permission from what I learned AVOID THIS BANK
