This credit union was a good company 15 years ago. Now- they clearly have lowered their standards and not kept up with the times. It’s 2026 it shouldn’t take a month to get a debit card reissued, and it shouldn’t take up to 45 to dispute a charge that they themselves flagged as fraud. Really disappointing.

No complaints! In house and phone service excellent, employees eager to help if at all possible, and privacy is paramount. I had used various other banks and credit unions prior to joining FCCU, and know I am home now permanently with this financial institution. They are all in for the sake of their members.

I walked into the bank first thing this morning at 9 am with a line of 6 people in front of me which is completely okay, it's busy I get it! While I'm waiting all 4 tellers walked out which gave me some hope. Once I finally got to the front to get some help there was a gentleman not helping anyone watching racing on his phone clear as day, the other lady who looked to be the boss was just pacing around on her phone. So technically only two tellers working while they are slammed once I finally got HALF the help I needed when I turned around to leave there were 10 more customers waiting to be helped. I have banked with this bank for 10 years now (I deal with the bellmead branch who has NEVER LET ME DOWN) but I came to the Sanger location because it was closer, I'll never do that again. I seriously am considering changing banks after today. I still have to go back to the bank to finish what I started today but I will be doing to the bellmead location next time. It was truly disappointing costumer service coming from someone who works in customer service

I recently visited the First Central Credit Union on Sanger Ave. I noticed new staff, and a whole new atmosphere. Offices which were once closed and used as storage rooms were neat, clean and occupied. I have used First Central for several years as my financial institution and this is the FIRST time I have seen such a positive, organized and customer friendly office. Thank you to Ms. Joy, the new Branch Manager for her most pleasant, friendly and caring help. Continue the Great Service.
