⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve had nothing but great experiences with Heart O’ Texas Federal Credit Union. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and quick to answer any questions. Miss Knowles has been especially kind and professional, always going above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of. They make everything from opening accounts to handling loans stress-free and straightforward. It feels good knowing I can trust them with my finances and that they truly care about their members. Highly recommend this credit union to anyone in the area!

I have had 4 car loans, several personal loans, a savings account and have a CD with HOTFCU. I have interacted with Holly K. (Senior Loan Officer) and Kelsey Z. Last names not listed for privacy. Both are extremely helpful and proficient at their in their jobs. I have never experienced a problem in 15 years doing business with them. I am a Transgender Woman and HOTFCU is very TG friendly.

My husband and I have accounts with bigger banks but we wanted something more personal, someone to work with us on developing better credit and setting up a safety net for our kids. Kelsey Zidermanis was not only informative, she was genuine. She wasn’t reading off of a script and didn’t seem to be pushing an agenda. But her welcoming personality really sold us on setting up an account with HOT Federal Credit Union. I look forward to going back to her for future financial advice.

Yesterday I reached out on the contact form for this credit union regarding a personal loan question. Kelsey Zidermanis reached out to me and offered me assistance and made it seem like this was a credit union that worked with people regardless of their situation. She asked for all our information via email and stated she’d have answer for us that day by 4:45 pm. Well 5 pm rolled around and they closed and still no reply via email or call from her. Next day comes and they open at 9 am, at 9:21 I reply to her email asking her if she has an answer for us politely and if we should stop in. She replies asking for information I’ve already given her again. I give it to her. We go some time with no word from her and so we decide to stop in the location in person and talk to her. At around 10:45 am we go in and ask to speak with her and she very unprofessionally asks us to come into her office. We explain that we stopped in because we didn’t want to head to our side of town without stopping in and trying to get the personal loan. She replies, “didn’t you get my email?”. Turns out they could not help us. Our credit was pulled, our hopes were raised, and we even drove out of our way and used gas just to be dismissed without any sense of care or apology. The process did not feel personal or painless at all, and instead was frustrating and discouraging. Kelsey Zidermanis wasted our time and made it seem as though we had a shot at the personal loan, giving us hope to get out of the situation we are currently in. We get home just to see she never even emailed us back like she stated she did, she flat out lied. I wouldn’t bank with them if I were you and I wouldn’t apply for a loan with Kelsey Zidermanis.
