Came to the bank to see if I could get finance for 4;500.00 for a car for my granddaughter's and they tell me that they couldn't help me cuz my granddaughter had to live with me and also show her driver's license and the car had too many miles on it .I think that's a crock. I been banking with them for years and now Kyle says no.

Extremely Disappointed – Members Choice Has Lost Its Way I’ve been a loyal customer of Members Choice Credit Union for over 12 years. They used to be a helpful, understanding financial institution — but sadly, those days are long gone. Today, I had an urgent need to deposit a $4,000 check to pay my employees. I recently relocated to Louisiana, so I asked one of my trusted employees in Waco, Texas to deposit the check on my behalf. Since I wasn’t able to physically endorse it, I gave him permission to sign it for me — a practical solution to avoid a 12-hour round trip. But when he went to deposit it, Members Choice refused. They called it a “forged signature.” I called the branch, explained the truth clearly and honestly — that I had authorized the signature — but they still wouldn’t accept it. Their response made one thing clear: had I lied and claimed the signature was mine, it would’ve gone through without issue. But because I was honest, my employees may now go unpaid. So what does that tell you? It tells you that this credit union values rigid procedures more than customer relationships. That they’d rather you lie than be honest. That even long-time members mean nothing when it comes to outdated, unforgiving policies. If you're considering banking with them, don’t — unless you’re absolutely desperate. There are better, more understanding institutions out there. Members Choice used to stand for something. Now they just stand in the way.

I've been a member for nearly 50 years. Opened my first account in Marlin. Always loved it, but not lately. Being asked to write your password and send it with deposit slip in the drive thru really makes me wonder how secure my money is. Everywhere else reminds you to never write your passwords down anywhere. This is not a good policy. And they certainly aren't consistent with it. I hate to switch because I've known really dependable people there, but this policy has me considering it.

I’ve been with this bank since 2009, and they have been noting but great to me.

2 clerks working the windows while 3 ladies hanging out giggling at the service center. As a manager I’m seeing you pay people that are not working while your customer service suffers. Just an observation. You have the personnel needed you just aren’t making the best use of their time.
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
