I have been a customer for over 7 years. The staff has always been so welcoming, helpful , professional and kind. They are always available to help with my banking issues. All are very knowledgeable and they are very patient when I am having banking issues that are overwhelming to me. Thank you all so much! I would recommend San Juan Credit unionto anyone and everyone!

This is a small-town credit union in an isolated part of the country. As such, SJCU provides friendly, accessible, and personalized customer service. Tellers will know your face after a few visits, and will be able to guess the likely reason for your visit. I've also received excellent customer service over the phone, which is answered by a real human every time. You won't get this kind of service and personal attention from a large corporate bank, or a bank in a large city.

Poor customer service, poor member verification protocols, poor return call times, poor management of my HARD EARNED MONEY. And when you call them to "help" assist them with the way your account is handled, they get offended & have the nerve to tell you to be more respectful over the phone, when as a customer you are concerned with where your money is going, they should accommodate to me, not protect their incompetent "tellers". Thus far the WORST financial institute I have ever came across, they will be losing my business and of course I will be taking my interest on my vehicle loan I have with them and be more then happy to give it to a REAL credit union.

I’m shocked by the treatment I’ve received from this organization. I received a charge to my account that did not make sense, so I called to receive clarification. The reasoning the teller gave me was inaccurate, so I asked to speak to a supervisor. She stated she would investigate it and call me back. When I received a call back the new reasoning also didn’t make sense. At this point, I asked to speak to a supervisor myself. I was told she was OUT to lunch, then that the supervisor was ABOUT to head to lunch, next the supervisor was in a meeting, the supervisor would call me back, a few times I was even placed on hold for 15 minutes and hung up on without speaking to anyone. Another teller sent me to the “supervisor” which ended up being a voicemail which she later said was because the supervisor was on vacation. I was given countless excuses, and NO ONE has told me exactly why these changes were made to my account except a bunch of made-up reasons that the staff hang up on me for when I proved them wrong. I highly recommend watching your accounts closely! It’s sad how unprofessional and greedy people can be.

I love doing business with SJCU! All account agents are great to work with--especially the Blanding branch. I am always able to send an email with a question and receive the help I need.
