When I came in around 3, nobody greeted me. Four employees were gathered at the drive thru talking and laughing and didn’t pay me any attention, not even the two who I’ve met before. The employee I approached didn’t seem interested in helping me, but was absolutely willing to. She even helped me get some contact info for someone in the back office helping me with another matter, and I’m very grateful for her help! But this was a pretty poor experience compared to the others I’ve had at the Freedom branch.

Shout out to Heather for her amazing customer service! She was helpful and proactive in following up of her own accord on some issues with one of my accounts.

I am extremely frustrated with how UCCU has handled our situation. We recently had a 30-day late payment reported on our credit, which we were shocked to discover. Our account had been set to autopay, but without our knowledge it stopped working, and we were never notified of a missed payment until it already damaged our credit. When we reached out, we requested a goodwill adjustment since we have always made our payments on time and were completely unaware of the issue. UCCU refused to help. They claimed they had sent letters, but those letters were being returned to them—so we never received a single notice. Instead of taking responsibility or offering any kind of support, they left us with the negative mark on our credit, which has had a huge impact. We have worked hard to maintain excellent credit, and this one incident—caused by poor communication and a failed notification process—has severely hurt us. It’s disappointing that UCCU has shown no willingness to listen or help their customers in situations like this.

I just opened my credit card account and I was super nervous, Frank helped make it such a positive experience. He walked me through every detail, explained every question in a way that I could easily understand. And helped educate me on how to build a good credit score! Thank you UCCU! #GiveFrankARaise

We recently worked on a lot loan with Gayla, who was wonderful to work with. She is an excellent communicator, helpful, and was patient with a challenging lot and location. Frank was also great, I'd highly recommend checking out UCCU as a first option in Provo!
