I opened an account two weeks ago. Set up direct deposit and everything. No card, even though they told me they'd mail them when I set up the account. I call after two weeks because it shouldn't take that long and get told no card was sent out. All this before a long holiday weekend and me with no way to get gas or food because I have direct deposit into this account. I called today to ask for an overnight card to correct their mistake and was told the fee would come out of my account. The rep was rude, dismissive and said there were no other options. This is pretty crazy when they were in my class last month more or less begging people to sign up. Gee, I wonder why people aren't keeping accounts here? Rude, unacceptable behavior when I'm trusting you with my money. Will be closing my account immediately. EDIT: IT GETS WORSE!!!! They have my name spelled wrong on my account, they spelled my email wrong so I wasn't getting any statements or notifications. It had to be a case of gross negligence, because my email address was "collective" and they spelled it "couective". Who does that? When they finally rushed out a card to us (after my spouse spoke to them--they didn't listen to me though!) the card activation phone line doesn't let you set up a PIN and there's no way to set up a pin online. No number to call on the back of the card too. I wanted to support my unions credit union, but with this level of "service" ....I literally can't pay my bills. LOL!

I've been paying my car off with them for the last 2 years and I have never had a bad experience. They are THE most kind people, always willing to help you and answer any questions you may have. Today, Michelle helped me and didn't make me feel stupid for asking the questions I did ask and was very kind. Great credit union!
