We've had accounts w NCFCU for more than 2 decades (saving, checking, auto loan, HELOC). Swift Street folks have always been great -- no charge change counting, shredding bin, notarize and medallion signature witnessing as well as routine retail banking and support. App also works well for routine stuff as does website for bill pay, transfers. They also let you set up Zelle on your account. Online chat folks answer routine account questions and it's a real person not AI. Good job NCFCU folks!

I have been banking here for 20 years. They are still the best financial institution I have dealt with in the States. Service is quick and efficient. Every query and request is dealt with quickly and efficiently, often simply via chat. I also deal with some of the bigger national banks but NCFCU is by far the best one. Keep it up!

I have been with NCFCU for well over 6+ years. They hold many of our accounts from checking, auto loan, credit card and other loans. We have had the best experience and a lot of ease working with everyone from customer service to loan dept at the Swift St. location. I highly recommend them to friends and family. I truly enjoy that they are a local bank with their customers best interest at hand.

The worst experience I have ever had with a financial institution. Good news: If you want to have constant unwanted and unpleasant surprises the entire time you have a loan through them, then this is the bank for you! Bad news: if you're looking for a bank that is reliable, trustworthy, responsive and accountable, this is NOT the right choice for your banking and loan needs. The amount of mistakes that have been made in the last two years is genuinely astounding. They have cancelled my auto pay on the wrong loan/vehicle, randomly opened a savings account in the process of a dealership paying off my loan for a trade in (I have never had a savings account through them and then continued to pull funds from my checking account), lost insurance binders, and the list goes on. Despite their mistakes, they will continue to treat you disrespectfully the entire time as though they didn't create the situations you're dealing with. The Branch Manager, Matthew, seems to have good intentions but unfortunately for him the rest of the staff is so incompetent that this branch is just a total joke. If you're looking for a loan, expect to wait 4+ business days for a response while they're sorting through their messes. If you're looking for answers on the mistakes that THEY have made, expect to have to force the issue, you will not get a phone call back. Don't waste your time or money with this place. Unfortunately, their aggressive loans and rates are just not worth it. Go elsewhere , its worth it to avoid the hassle of this facility and incompetent staff.

Just posting a review because I am surprised to see the negative comments here, which I think need balancing. My family and I have been NCFCU customers forever (25+ years). We have credit cards, checking, and savings through them. They got my kids started with bank accounts in their early years, and handled the accounts for our recent exchange student. They have always been happy to handle the complexities that arise in life (and to take loose change - free machine - notarize documents, etc), and the people at the Swift Street branch (the one I use) are always pleasant and helpful. Maybe it's just the case that unhappy people are more likely to post reviews...
