I’ve been a member of Commonwealth One for 25 years, and I just had one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Penni Wolfe went truly above and beyond to get me the documents I needed, and she did it quickly and efficiently. After speaking with several other representatives who weren’t able to help, Penni stepped in and made it happen. Exceptional service, professionalism, and follow-through. Thank you, Penni!

Penni was absolutely amazing! She was patient and kind in helping me resolve some complicated issues and followed up with resources and best next steps where she couldn’t help. I’ve been with this bank for over 20 years and they always make sure I’m well supported along my financial journey.

For the first time in as long as I can remember, a survey actually worked. A Commonwealth representative named Katie personally called me, took the time to address all of my concerns, made helpful adjustments to my account, and clearly explained why those changes were made. It was a truly positive and reassuring experience.

I called Commonwealth One FCU yesterday about an incorrect online payment. Penni was exceptional with assisting with figuring out if I was at fault or the Payee was. Penni researched and found out the Payee keyed in a wrong account number. Thanks for correcting payment problem. Keep up the excellent work. Love COFCU.

I never post reviews — like, ever — but after being a loyal member since 2010, this experience deserves one. I actually drove quite a distance just to deposit cash, called ahead to confirm everything, and still ended up having the door literally shut in my face at 4:59 p.m. Not exactly the “member-first” service they used to be known for. They used to be top-tier: friendly, helpful, community-focused. Now it’s giving “we close at 5:00, not 4:59 and 59 seconds — tough luck” energy. The customer service has really gone downhill — rude attitudes, zero empathy, and a complete lack of awareness that people’s time matters. It’s frustrating and honestly disappointing to watch a credit union I once trusted completely lose touch. Please, fix this. Retrain your staff, revisit your values, and remember that long-time members who go out of their way to bank with you deserve better. Until then, I’ll be taking my business — and my recommendation — elsewhere.
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
