Unable to reach anyone. Account is always unverifiable. Poor hours of operation. Was better when it was Hampton VAMC credit union. I am ready to close this account

DO NOT USE THIS BANK! This place will scam out of your money. Stay far away from this bank. Customer is terrible. No accountability with the staff. Charges ridiculous fees to steal money from customers. YOUR MONEY AND PRIVACY IS NOT PROTECTED HERE. They charged me $30 per transaction when my account didnt not have the funds and never thought to fraud protect my account by locking it or sending a text to confirm transactions. Let me remind you these bank never paid for the merchant for these transactions. So the bank never lost money. Yet they charged me $30 for every time the payment was attempted. My account went from +300 to -987.07 in less than 24hrs. The bank has been no help. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE WITH YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY OR TO PROTECT YOUR FUNDS. NO FRAUD PROTECTION. NO ATTEMPT TO CONTACT THE CUSTOMER. IM MORE SHOCKED THAT ITS POSSIBLE TO HAVE THIS MANY FEES AND TRANSACTIONS WITHOUT THE BANK EVERY NOTIFYING ME. I’ve been with this bank for 5+ years and had a checking account for less than 24hrs before they charged me $1000 of transactions fees

Terrible customer service. The main customer service person yells at you from the time you begin speaking, and then refuses to do anything to help you, but says, “I was going to have you go do it in your app, sir/ma’am.” Meanwhile, I have already explained several times that I’m not sure that I know how to get into the app because I don’t really use the accounts there anymore. And when it becomes clear that this individual is absolutely fully unwilling to be helpful to me in this situation, I asked to speak to a manager, and she yells at me that there is no manager. And then, a few minutes later, she insists that she is the manager. And then, after that, she insists that she is not going to transfer the call to anybody else because it’s something that she can handle at her level, but she’s refusing to do anything and telling me that she can’t do anything at the same time. Not to mention the whole reason that I haven’t really used this bank in the last, however, many years is because they don’t have any kind of competitive interest rates on any of their accounts. I think it’s time to close my accounts with them. And I see here now that there are a lot of people who’ve had similar bad experiences with a three rating.

I have yet to understand how 2 entities merge and I still owe the previous an interest. Though both have the same reported balance with my loan. This is thr worst transition I have ever had with a financial institution. No one seems to have an answer to legit questions. So if your not paying attention to their lack, they will have you paying extra money for no reason.
