Arrived at the Credit Union late in the day looking to get important paperwork signed and notarized. Marisol Santillana was super helpful, courteous, and professional and was able to get all the paperwork completed in a timely fashion. Thank you

The staff here are extremely incompetent and poorly informed. I visited the Herndon branch to request SCRA (Servicemembers Civil Relief Act) benefits on my credit card after joining the military. Neither the representative nor the manager knew what SCRA was, even though it was literally one Google search away. I submitted my official military orders as requested, but later I was charged a late fee and told my account was not under SCRA because my orders were supposedly “travel orders,” even though they are the only official orders I have. I offered to provide additional official military documentation proving my status, was given an email to send it to, and then never received any follow-up. Now, after checking my account, I can see that my credit card is finally listed as being under SCRA. However, I also discovered that I’ve been charged a $5 “Invalid Address” fee every month for the past 10 months. This shows a clear lack of knowledge of federal servicemember protections, poor communication, and ongoing billing issues. Very disappointing experience.

We have been a business member at NWFCU for the last 6 years. I love stopping in at the bank, they treat me like I am part of the family. The Vienna location has an amazing staff and make me feel special! I highly recommend NWFCU.

Nothing but excuses, bill pay failed, they justify failure with excuses. I made two bill pay to same place, one went electronic the other failed went check, no one knows what happened disappointed, just excuses. I called, I emailed, I asked for proof that the check was sent, you sent me the one that worked. Absolutely nothing. If I'm late its several hundred dollars, I cannot trust northwest.
